Wouldn't it be cool if Lost River had a different plotline? Like instead of raising pups, you have to find out why everybody evacuated and each mission is about finding more and more clues to what happened. And at the end of each mission there is a cutscene so you can understand it better. And once you find out the meaning of the evacuation, the same thing happens to you. So you have to find an exit and make sure your mate is following. There would be three different endings. 1: You keep running away from the "thing" and you leave your mate behind but you get away safely. Once you finally make it out a pop up will tell you that you made it out alive but your mate is dead. A cutscene will play with you leaving Lost River for good with the camera zooming out. The music is played at a slower tone and it automatically starts raining. This is the bad ending. 2: You keep running away from the "thing" but you go back to save your mate. A cutscene will play with you successfully saving your mate. You make it out alive and a pop up will tell you that you and your mate survived. It will also tell you that maybe its better to find a safer place to raise pups. It will then show a cutscene of you and your mate walking along the abandoned highway as the camera zooms out. This is the good/best ending. 3: This is what happens when you don't find a mate. You are running away from the "thing" but you trip on a rock and fall. The "thing" eventually reaches you. You eventually get up but you injured your back leg. You go slower and barely make it out. A pop up will tell you that you made it out alive but you damaged your leg permanently. It will tell you it would've been better if you found a mate. A cutscene will play with you limping while following the road. This is the neutral ending. ( Remember that this thing never happens and it was all made up. )
QueenOfSins why would you search clues of this if you’re supposed to be a real wolf, don’t you have better things to do, like eat ?, btw the “thing” is radiation, you can’t have pups because your wolf is sterile
They should but they can't because if you do there are prob. More predators and stranger wolves are harder to beat SRSLY have you been to Yellowstone park? And seen the abandon carnival
I know some people think Lost River is really creepy. For me, it sorta feels a little creepy with the BCE facility and notes on houses. Also, if you get scared easily I wouldn't suggest wandering the streets of lost river at night, I got a little creeped out the first time I did this. But I love the Easter Eggs and the concept. But the music feels very lonely, sad and somewhat spooky for me. The map feels appropriately creepy and Lost, hence the name "Lost River". It's a very thrilling map to explore and one of my favorites. It's a sandbox map with no real objectives and many players think of exploring Lost River as a side quest for the game. I've spent a lot of my time playing wolf quest on Lost River. It's very thrilling to play on this map and adds another thing you can do in WQ.
Lost river scares me there are creepy signs on the garages one says MEET ME AT CABIN HURRY Another one says FIRST THE RIVER NOW US *Im getting goosebumps*
Pretty sure this is just some weird interpretation of Chernobyl. I was positive about it when I saw the steering wheel. So it probably means there is no monster, besides the radiation which is why you never see humans around.
Has anyone been near that pile of sticks in the middle of the pond? Like, where the flooded houses are. Am I the only one hearing weird groaning noises from it?
+Krystal storm What's your WolfQuest user? I want to add you but you'll have to send me a request. When I am able to get it working to where I can log in, I'll accept it.
ForestWolf Gacha cool.... but y would WolfQuest put this map in there??? Like kids r playing this and I feel like once u spawn I get alert iin real life like I get the heebie jeebies
Denny:Honey! I Shrunk the kids! Hannah: What!!! *runs back to den and sees all kids OK* Denny: Psyche! Fooled yah!! Haha!! Hannah: DENNY!!!!!!* Kids thinking*:OHH SHIT THINGS ARE GOING DOWN YALL.
Did you get stuck down in the water way? And also, once you find your mate, can you proceed to Slough Creek? I just got the game bought yesterday and was so excited for the new map! It's fudging HUGE. I have been exploring but haven't found a mate yet, so that's why I asked that question.
+Racer Wendsher After finding a mate you don't proceed to Slough Creek. I was a bit disappointed to find out that there is no other task after finding your mate. I didn't really get stuck in the water but I did find the level to be quite glitchy and laggy.
+Racer Wendsher if you find a mate in the lost river you cant have pups and proceed to slough creek because your outside of Yellow Stone and it says when you get a mate in the lost river *some thing warns you from having pups here*
+Ren Fisher Trust me, if you want new content/continued development of WolfQuest, you really, really don't want 2.7 and any newer revisions to the game to end up being free. You'll find these advertised on their Facebook group, Twitter, and community forums under "News and Announcements". ;) ~ Neamara
Do you have unlock it or something? 😕 The button for it is still faded on the Demo for me. I bought the full game but when it loads the Menu screen it has a fail message at the bottom. I used Puffin on my phone to buy the game and connected my phone to the computer and transfered the files because our Windows 7 won't connect to the Internet. I got the little email with the link to re -download the game without buying it again in case I switched devices and I can't get onto Gmail on my Nextbook because Internet Explorer says Google's security certificate is expired. What should I do? 😕
Jaida Menzies-green yes there is one! Once you spawn, go to the left and follow that road. Not the one that leads to the neighborhood. After a while of following it, you should see it split off into a driveway, follow it and there should be the cabin! If you still can't find it, I can add you and show you in a server!
no. Lost River is an exploration/easter egg map. The only purposes for having a mate on Lost River is for company and being able to have someone who can help you hunt and stuff like that. On the page linked below, Neamara states, "It isn't an ideal or safe place to raise a family" wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=77646
