The minstrel troupe Wolgemut is joined by Tyler Morrison and his rauschpfiefe for a rousing fast-paced instrumental version of the medieval Occitan tune "Ai Vis Lo Lop" ("I Saw the Wolf") at the 2011 Florida Renaissance Festival in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This was filmed at the afternoon Wolgemut Show on the Beer Garden Stage, March 6, 2011.
Featuring: "Micha" (Michael Gartner" on rauschpfiefe, "Jakob" (Daniel Williams) on percussion and cymbals, "Albrecht" (Michael Heubner) on percussion, "Klecka" (Chris Klecka) on Dudelsack (german bagpipes), and introducing "Gunter" (Tyler Morrison) on rauschpfiefe.
Tyler, who serves in a variety of musical roles at the Florida Renaissance Festival ranging from Piotr the Pied Piper to playing for the Reveler's Round Dancers, and who plays a variety of instruments, is here christened by Micha as a honorary German musician with the good German name of "Gunter".

"Ai Vis Lo Lop" has been performed by a wide variety of artists and bands, and was re-popularized in recent times by the German medieval metal band "In Extremo". Wolgemut and Owain Phyfe also do a nice version this song, mixing instrumentals and vocals - this version can be found on their CD album "Pipes, Phyfe, & Drum".
"Ai Vis Lo Lop" hails back to the ancient Occitan of Southern France and supposedly tells the story of coming upon a wolf, a fox, and a hare all dancing together.
