Hey! I've visited Wollongong before and loved it. Would you say jobs are easier to come by there compared to Sydney? And is it still easy to meet people / still a backpacker vibe? Thanks!!
I can’t comment on the jobs as I haven’t had to look for a job here. But meeting people is definitely harder. I think Sydney is so easy to make friends but people tend to leave Sydney after a few months. Wollongong - most people have lived here their whole life so have an established group of friends, I have made a few friends but there not really “travellers”😅 I also am away a lot too so that prevents me from making friends but the lifestyle here is sooooo much better if your looking for a quieter beach city that’s my take on it anyway!
