Do you have a link for the suit in the back right? I’ve been looking at Simcosplay and it seems that they have varying qualities of the same suit. The one you’re wearing looks pretty good but the one you’ve got on the right display stand in the back looks perfect!
Firstly, thank you for the compliment on the other suit. However, keep in mind, it certainly does not show up looking like that from Simcosplay. I had to make a fair amount of changes to get it to that point. That being said, I suggest ordering this versions (it's the same suit, however, it has the updated blue): www.simcosplay.com/3d-printed-decoration-wolverine-james-howlett-cosplay-costume-v2.html And for the upgrades, you can watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RzNmzgR3_Os.html Hope this helps!
Hey, quick question. How did you get this on? Did you have help? I just bought it and I can't get the vest on by myself lol. I can get the zipper zipped up the back but the straps on the vest aren't reachable. Any advice? I'd like to be able to put it on on my own without help.
Great question! So, I was able to get it on by myself.... eventually. Basically, with zippers, I will add a string to it so I can pull the zipper up all the way. For the buckles on this suit, I would buckle up one side before putting on. Once I had the vest on, I would shift the vest as much as I could to reach the buckles and then do them up starting from top to bottom (if your suit is very tight, you may not able able to do this). But this is how I was able to get it on by myself. Hope this helps or that you find a way that works for you!
The chest I didn’t bother messing with, but I would recommend putting some kind of upholstery foam on the inside to back it once it’s being positioned the way you want it. I think I ultimately liked the other suit better, since the material is more consistent and gives a more cohesive look. But again, it really all depends on what you plan on doing in/with the suit.
I’ve found a website that sell similar Wolverine costume which looks identical from the Deadpool and wolverine film, it’s called “procosplay” I was wondering if this is credible to purchase it and it’s breathable too in your video which shows list of material fabric you want ???
Procosplay, Simcosplay and Chaorenbuy all use the same suit suppliers. And they all offer different variations/options for the suit. So far, all 3 have been reasonable to work with. However, keep in mind, this time of the year causes orders to take longer with it being Halloween season and an already high amount of orders going in for both Deadpool and Wolverine.
Hi, I’m looking into getting one of these suits. I was hoping maybe you can help me. Would you go with the one your reviewing, sim Cosplays, or white sheep leathers?? Thank you!!!
@@jorgebarrios-fy4it hi there, I personally wouldn’t spend the money on WSL or LFV unless it’s a screen printed suit, in which they haven’t got that down yet. Sure the abs and knees look great, but the accessories suck and you’d probably have to mod just as much anyway. The one I’m reviewing would be great for someone doing a fan film/a lot of moving around. But if you just wanted looks and some minor mods, the v2 suit with the updated blue from simcosplay would be the way to go… at least for now anyway. That’s my thoughts on it anyway.
Did you get the fake leather knee pads and shoulder pads for the chaorenbuy suit? They also offer a plastic variation and I'm not sure which would be better. The Simcosplay are harder knee pads right? Do you know what the plastic knee pads are like from chaorenbuy? Thanks for the review.
The one I got came with the pleather knees and shoulders (which ended up getting replaced anyway). Both simcosplay and Chaorenbuy use the same suit supplier, so when it comes to the plastic knees, they are the same. Personally, I’m not a fan of the plastic knees or the knees that came with the Chaorenbuy suit. On my simcosplay suit, I ended up swapping the knees out for a pair from AliExpress. I’d say it all comes down to your personal preference and what level of accuracy you are attempting to complete.
@@TheRusticNerdDad is there any place you have a list with links to the customized suit? Like which AliExpress kneepads? Thanks for all your help, I'm ordering my suit now.
@@santospalma403 not at the moment. But I’m working on it! Hoping to have my own website put together so that I can create a digital library for people to make it easier to source what they want/need. 🙂
Hi I have a question about the website you ordered the suit from as I am wanting to get a deadpool and wolverine deadpool suit and was just wondering if you would recommend the chaorenbuy for getting the suit as I have never ordered from there before?
I had good communication with them and the prices seemed reasonable. This is the second item I have gotten from them and plan on ordering again for another cosplay in the near future.
@@TheRusticNerdDadok thank you, that has eased my worries and do you know where you have to put shoe sizes on the website as I am having trouble finding it😅
@@lewisruddle4084 you have to add your shoe size as a note when you purchase on the website or send by email if you forget to put it in (they communicate very well on Instagram as well 👍)
Good video. I thought that Charoenbuy and Procosplay sell the same suit? (same supplier obviously) But you mention the one on the mannequin is a more deluxe suit from Procosplay? Also the suit under review is the upgraded Charoenbuy suit? Sorry can you explain a bit? Cheers
Yep, Chaorenbuy, Simcosplay and Procosplay all use the same supplier(s). The suit I purchased first (the one on the mannequin) was from Simcosplay (which was also called an upgraded version at the time of purchase). The suit I was wearing and reviewing was from Chaorenbuy (which is labeled as an upgraded suit on their website, which it technically is compared to other base models of the suit). The supplier(s) have made a few variations of this suit now and I think the websites are having a hard time naming the suits, especially when they go through slight changes in design (ie, the blue being made more accurate on the suit I originally purchased). Hopefully this info helps clear things up a bit for you 👍
@@chrishicks0107 was between 3 and 4 weeks. I currently have an order in with Chaorenbuy and it’s now over 5 weeks. Probably depends on their suppliers work load.
I have a question. For the sim cosplays would u recommend getting the props that are options for the suits like the helmet, claws and boots or should I get those somewhere else
@@Makai_the_guy there are some good options on Etsy for more screen accurate ones (the one cosplay sites are selling is mainly the unused version at the end of The Wolverine movie, but also not good quality.) if you save for a really high end one, Jordan’s Ironic Armory is a great option
Do you think you’d be able to send/post your body measurements? It looks like we have similar builds, it would be great if I could compare our measurements before ordering. Thank you for your time and thanks for this video!
@@SneakerD84 I have no problem sharing the basics. I’m 5’9” and 175 lbs. however, like I’ve mentioned to people in the past, when in doubt for measurements, pay the little extra for the custom measurements
@@Comedydude1316 I haven’t personally had to get a custom tailored suit, as the size guide has worked for me. But I recommend checking the website or your purchase order to see if it indicates an amount of time. It was a little over a week before my suit shipped as a standard size, so I would imagine a tailored suit would take longer.
Im planning on saving my money for a Deadpool suit (I think it’s abt 318 right now) but idk I know chaorenbuy cosplay does offer custom size suits, my mama thinks I’m crazy for wanting to buy such an expensive suit. The pro for me personally is that I could rewear the suit for any Halloween year (since I’m 18 rn and I can’t really grow anymore so I’m stuck at 4’11) the only issue is idk exactly how to measure myself. Height in men (I’m a trans man ftm no surgery) I would be around 59 inches tall according to the chart. I want my chest to be somewhat invisible ya get me? Idk if that made any sense 😅
Hi there! Whenever people are unsure of sizing, I always recommend going the custom sizing route. There are fabric measuring tapes you can get to help get your accurate body measurements when you buy. (Simcosplay and procosplay do custom measurements as well!). Also, to help save on fees, you can use the code: CRFBAD to save 10% on the Chaorenbuy website (standard coupon, no commissions for me). 👍
@@TheRusticNerdDad Who should I buy from? I heard procosplay does good deadpool costumes and everyone gets it from there or would chaorenbuy be good? It’s a suit I won’t wear as often so it’ll be mostly hung up
First Thing I Want To Say, THANK YOU GOD, FOR THIS EXTRAORDINARY MAN. So finally someone who sees things like I do in this reality world, trying to make things right, I admit that the world fans of the great SCI-FI greatly hunger for things, from the adventures screens, right into their own hands to hold and poses, you almost wish to make a great leaping jump, in the screen scene to join the adventure, like in 1993 The Last Action Hero. I admit when the very first taken images of Deadpool & Wolverine in his “YELLOW SUIT”, then on just inside of the time of a weak I believe, they began actually making and selling his suit, must have taken every single image of him in order to do it. But now I am honoured to have finally found someone who see things exactly the way I do, I mean there is that noticeable pattern texture of his suit, and the one you brought off line was just smooth leather, so please let me know of the name of the fabric, textured material you order online, there is of course the padding that bolks out of his shoulders and chest in sections, so please do let me know of the fabric name please, thank you so much for this.
