I want my old Arsenal back. These new kids are no where close to Henry, Pires, Viera, Bergkamp and group. They had passion, hunger to win, and leadership qualities. Now when I see the team, I only see little moaning sulking kids running around clueless in the field. Did people forget how football is supposed to be played????

You're only echoing the sentiments of every arsenal fan Hugh. We were 3-0 down to a team who have been beaten by Huddersfield this season home and away. This coupled with the fact we let benteke score and assist last home game (his first goal in over a year) is just typical Arsenal. Enjoyed the mention about the type of player we got champions league football with under wenger. Our only problem is Chelsea. If we lose against Leicester, we are over and done with, we would end up in 5th above United. And God knows what would go down in the Europa League, if we are losing against 3 point guaranteed teams.
After my American football team left San Diego (the Chargers) for LA (to, ironically enough, play as a tenant in Stan's stadium), I started following Arsenal and soon became a supporter. Funny enough, I still feel like I watching the fucking Chargers because it's the same exact shit -- play down to competition, choke/bottle it in winnable games, and piss away seasons and talented players' careers. I feel right at home supporting Arsenal and can understand the pain long suffering fans go through.
I felt the same way at the end of the 1st half... Went to dinner afterwards, so fucking depressed, and my friends would ask me what was wrong with me, nobody else watches football, so they didn't know arsenal had just lost. I couldn't cope with the banter so I lied and said I was sick. Fucking club, has me fuming since palace.

Can't be placing bets on your own mob to lose.,Hugh.. it's kinda the unwritten rule...ya just don't it. Some Arsenhole fans seem to have a sense that their club is entitled to CL even though their club has been rewarded for failure with CL finances for at least two decades without getting anywhere near the standard needed to actually win the thing.And if they still don't qualify for it again this season they still get European football in a competion they should be looking to win.
