@@meina88 I'm normally just a Demon Hunter guy, but since dipping my toe in this bands water. I have developed a lot of respect for how unapologetically religious their music is. No hidden metaphors or insinuations. They sing their beliefs and put it out there. Also, great workout music on top of meaningful lyrics.
you gotta see them on stage. you have to meet them in real life. Steve is an awesome guy aswell as the others. he will always tell something inspirational on stage about him and his relationship with God.
Dylan yeah, so generalizing whole social group that you are not a part of as soy boys by judging one stupid person in the comment section is such a genius idea.
@@FIash911 it's not always inaccurate to generalize when the majority of people act like this. Look at you defending this douche. Instead of condemning this bigots actions you turn the condemnation the other way.
This band always makes my faith remain strong. You don’t need to give up metal to be Christian love that this band always stays true to their faith and helps people come to Christ by listen to them. Been a believer since 2018.
I really don’t understand why these guys aren’t a much bigger band than they currently are. The passion and artistry just feels so far above and beyond their peers. Maybe they just hit a perfect blend for my musical taste, but I would have thought there would be a lot more people who feel the same way
Any band that truly stands for christ won't make it Hollywood big, it's simple, the world is ran by Satan himself and will keep things that are good suppressed in simple terms
Songs like this that cry out to Jesus because of our wretchedness is the broken cry of a heart who thirsts and hungers for righteousness. And oh how he comes in like a crashing wave of his holy overwhelming love and mercy that knocks us straight into the ground in anguished desperate sobbing as he holds us in his unbreakable nail scared arms.
One of my favourite things about WATG is that they mentioned how God is the solution. All music can scream out one individual's despairs, sorrows, sadness and all those negative emotions. I see the night slipping over It crawls along coming closer I feel the lies pull me under I hear your voice like it's thunder I crept along in the shadows I drowned the guilt in the shallows It's buried now, covered in doubt I hear your voice Tell me I'm not alone But WATG let us know of the solution: A voice cut its way through the silence Telling me of love that is sincere You quiet my heart from the violence Forgiveness despite my defiance Telling me of love that is sincere Forgiveness despite my defiance Telling me of love that is sincere WATG music reminds us again about that in the middle of our suffering and sins, God is always there and how He loves us if we listen to His voice. Forgiveness is always on the table. Please do keep up your great music and proclaim His gospel throughout the nations.
WATG is one of the few bands that has evolved their sound but has truly gotten better with each release.Their music gives me hope and points me to Christ in dark times. This new album is absolutely brilliant.
Tell me I'm yours Tell me I'm not alone Falling apart in this silence alone Tell me I'm yours... Tell me I'm not alone! I see the night slipping over It crawls along coming closer I feel the lies pull me under I hear your voice like it's thunder You're falling in love with the silence It's telling you all that you want to hear You're falling in love with the violence It's telling you all that you want to hear I crept along in the shadows I drowned the guilt in the shallows It's buried now, covered in doubt I hear your voice Tell me I'm not alone You're falling in love with the silence It's telling you all that you want to hear You're falling in love with the violence It's telling you all that you want to hear (I'm all alone Tell me I'm not alone) Tell me I'm yours Tell me I'm not alone Tell me that I'm not alone in this world Tell me I'm not... I drowned out your voice And hardened my heart to stone I filled all my voids But opened my wounds The pain digs in deeper and deeper I filled all the voids But opened my wounds The pain digs in deeper and deeper A voice cut its way through the silence Telling me of love that is sincere You quiet my heart from the violence You're falling in love with the silence It's telling you all that you want to hear You're falling in love with the violence It's telling you all that you want to hear Forgiveness despite my defiance Telling me of love that is sincere Forgiveness despite my defiance Telling me of love that is sincere
I didn’t even know there was an album until I read this comment…I just heard about these guys a few days ago. You’re a lot better at keeping up with music than I’ll ever be, neighbor.
It's actually rather simple, even for metalcore/post-hardcore. But I agree, the way it's composed and executed is done extremely well and fits the song perfectly.
Sadly when you're a band that truly wants to spread the gospel, you're not going to get the world's recognition, but you will help souls come to Christ, and souls on their walk with Christ, and that's more precious than anything the world has to offer
I have no idea how you guys aren't the biggest rock band in the world right now. Your music has been such a tremendous blessing in my life. Thank you for making music that's incredible and edifying. Keep up the amazing work!
These guys are seriously amazing. The passion they pour out into every song and performance is incredible. They're incredibly humble and a powerful voice for God. Keep it up guys!
I was checking out this video and my 2 year old daughter over-heard and starts singing 'falling in love with the violence' 😂😭😂 teach em young, lol. (We listen to the album a lot in the car, lol)
I first heard Wolves at the gate five weeks ago. I'm a Christian, along with my Boyfriend. We love Metal music , and I'm going through one of the hardest times of my life..I have depression and sometimes suicidal ideation. I only trust God, and the lyrics of Wolves at the gate help me a lot and give me energy. Thank you for this jewel, blessings to you! P.d. sorry for my english, I am from Argentina :) 😙😁😄
Wolves at the Gate has been my favorite band for years now since I saw them live. These guys are simply incredible. No band I've found touches their raw emotion and message. They deliver over and over again.
I very much wish these guys would come to North Alabama. Of course, I'd also like to hang out with them for a day or two. Guys who praise God like this seem like the kind of guys worth getting to know.
This band is fantastic. At first I was like, alright they have some good songs. But the more I dive into their music it's really great. Worth not just one listen. But many. The aggressive tone is just well done.
Getting this Album on Vinyl was the one Greatest decisions of my life. The Vocals alone on this Song On Vinyl is Ridiculous. I'm in Awe. Digital doesn't even come close.
Isso aí! Se você falar com eles via Instagram, eles responderão que não recebem nenhuma propostas para tocarem aqui. É uma pena, pois eles falaram que sonham em tocar aqui. Assim eles me responderam e podem falar com eles que respondem.
I came here because a band member joined a Discord server I'm in. I'm an instant fan after only listening to this song and Lights & Fire. Keep up the awesome music.
Lol i was searching wolf at the gates to listen to the world of warcraft soundtrack and click on these dudes by mistake, and i gotta say i loooooveeee them so far
I'm not as much of a Christian but I love your music guys. Flawless post hardcore, catchy, melodic and brutal. And the lyrics are very inspiring, even from a non-believer. You transmit hope, values, energy, and soul into your songs. Keep making music 👌❤
If you Love the music, you need to spread the word. These guys deserve so much more recognition. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of them before today. Will definitely be posting on my social media.
I love how they don’t seem obsessed with their image. I’ve been listening to this song for months, and this is my first time seeing the music video. I lot didn’t expect this wardrobe :P
