"Early on in our career, before we got signed, we played a VFW show with Twenty One Pilots before they blew up. We were just local Columbus, Ohio bands trying to get out there and make some fans. They definitely did not fit the rest of the bill, but they were undeniably unique. Fast forward years later and their incredible gifts are being seen and appreciated globally. Something
they do so well is expressing dark and somber moods in their music without sacrificing memorability and melody. Heathens has a really cool arrangement that allows the listener to experience the chorus in a few different ways throughout the song. The musical dynamics flow
in various movements that left an open landscape for us to put our own fingerprint on it. As well, the lyrics carried a very relatable sentiment that could be seen and interpreted on a few different levels. The way that we saw the lyrics, was telling people to be careful about judging each other.
To understand the uniformity that we are all the same. Appearances can be deceptive in how we perceive each other, but at the core, everyone has their own struggles, brokenness, and demons. It’s actually a pretty powerful call for empathy that we really connected with."

Sis you ain't kiddin!! I've had it in repeat ever since I woke up at 9:00am this morning!! I'm so grateful for Wolves at the Gate bcuz they're music speaks to me & it encourages me in my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty!! Now I also really love Upperroom music & there's a time & place for that slow music too! But for the last 6 months I've been wanting to listen to hardcore Christian Metal!! And I've been listening to Reformed oh my Lord their music is absolutely Bonkers & it's all bible like put to music. It's so hard & so sick I love music that Glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty & I can bang my head at the same time!! Have a Blessed & Beautiful day in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Okay firstly, this cover is amazing!! Steve and Nick, y'alls voices go too well together! So many reasons why you guys are my favorite! Secondly, I love how this video is set up! I love the story it tells! Thirdly, am I catching the sense that this is a series of music videos?? This one goes right with the Breaking the Habit video. Between the same guy in the videos and the forshawdowing of the parking lot and the circle of people/ chairs in Breaking the Habit. Will there be more??? 👀👀

I'm an ex addict & I'm a Gen xer!! And I never thought that I'd be living in a world like this back then!! It's absolutely insane it's like we're living in an alternative universe even though I know that's not possible. But yeah this drug epidemic is Bonkers. Back in my time it was pot, coke & tripping & ecstasy. This fentanyl thing is insane & I shot heroin for 12 years. This world is on a downward spiral to hell in a hand basket. And I never thought I'd see the gang government make it super easy to be an addict!! Well I mean the puppet president's son is an active addiction & no one seems to care!! Father I pray for every single person dealing with addiction. Father I pray that they have a moment of clarity like I did & I pray that they cry out to you for your help before it's too late! Father plz send your Mighty Warrior Angels down to encamp around them all & protect them from the enemy & his minions that are basically putting the poison in their hands!! Father I pray that you'd help ease the pain that their parents are in & their families. Father I know that you knew what was gonna happen before it all happened. And you told us in your word plz open the eyes of the lost so that they may see the truth in plain sight!! Father plz help those of us who are following you & see the desperation of this world. I never listened to 21 pilots but I'll tell you what this hits super hard!! And I'm really glad that WATG did this cover. I really love it & as I get older I'm finding that I want to listen to hard core metal music when it comes to bands who are following the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty! I used to listen to slow music & that has it's time & place but dang it if I don't feel closer to the Lord & feel his presence even more with metal!! I'm 47 & I used to listen to Korn, Chevelle, Staind, System of a Down & Soul fly& Sepultora. But then I walked away from the world & started following the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty. And I stopped listening to secular music & I didn't know any good bands that had good music that glorified the Lord Jesus & rocked until I found Reformed & then I found WATG & oh my Gosh dude these guys are Absolutely Bonkers!! Thank you so much brothers for showing me that you can still follow the Lord Jesus & rock at the same time!! Mad love to you guys & your families. May Abba Father continue to Bless you & Keep you & your families. May he cause his face to shine upon you & be gracious unto you. Same here man, after leaving my old life behind and being reborn in Christ I also left behind all the secular music but finding a band like wolves at the gate playing my favorite genre and singing about the Lord and the many things built around faith is such an amazing feeling. Christian metal really digs deep and makes me feel closer to God. ALSO if you really enjoy heavy metal but have a hard time finding Christian bands, there's this band that I like, they're called PHINEHAS and their music is really really good and probably one of my top 3 bands so you should definitely give them a listen!!
