I think it was a beautiful story. I like how they shared stories, prayers, songs, etc. The sharing of their cultures and dreams as they were from different worlds. Cool!!!

Good story.

I thought that this chapter should be added; "Imagine that this story is about you and an Alien". No difference if your the Alien or not nor if you are Female or the Male, Just go with this....ok. At the very end of the story the truth is unvailed when you see a Craft enter the atmosphere and you say to each other, ..... "We Did it my Love, after 17 years someone found us! You grab your two children. A young Female 15 years old and a little Male at 11 years old then run to the craft that landed and as you wait for your rescue. You see the creatures disembark and stroll towards your location. A fleeting thought enters your mind ... "What a Strange looking Race, I would never thought it possible!". knowing what you felt, your partner agrees with a low melodic hiss! As the "Aliens" aproach you hear one state: Captain Kirk, Commander Spock; I think we found the missing Link! "WHO KNEW THAT DOGS AND CATS COULD HAVE CHILDREN"! 🤣😛👿💗 AVB!

I counted at least 8 different spellings for captain ward and about 5 for the navigator

Enjoyed the story. But needs a better female voice. Ahe sounds like she's screaming.

The AI reading still leaves a lot to be desired. The mis pronunciation and tempo are clear signs. A good Si Fi story though.

I, as a long time SF fan, and knowing from the picture that somehow the woman gets pregnant. Now, I started my Sf journey with Star Trek, back when there was ONLY Star Trek. However, by the time I got into fanzines, I wasn't that into Trek anymore. Oh, I read some. I've actually written 3 stories. I have an idea for a Next Gen story, but haven't been interested in writing it. So, understand when I say I have a bit of a problem with human/alien babies. Now, I never read this one story, but I heard about it from someone else. This is a Classic Trek story when only Classic Trek and the animated series existed... Okay, I guess the Motionless Picture, but still only original Trek. This story was about Amanda, Spock's mother, getting pregnant. The story had them taking the future Spock out and put back in a bunch of times. (Pregnant pause here.) That sounds insane to me. It did then, it does now over 40 years later! I will grant future medicine making it possible, but... YIKES! Okay, just saying I'm not at all sure the pregnancy is possible.

Nice story yet they kept spelling his name different, pronounced it different and it’s a good story yet there was too much repetitive words such as “TRANSCEND”. It also only kept repeating the same sentiment over and over just changing the words.

I'd rather read this than listen to a male AI voice robotically read this off. Where can I read this instead?

You need to stop using these "AI narrators" ... this one is so screwed up, with yells and vocal changes at all the wrong moments.
