A man whose age is around 30 used to tease me in my way to college. At first, I took this normally and never reacted. But one day I stopped and asked him - what do you want? Your words & thinking are exactly what I think & say and believe about how the society typically conditions the females to be weak and fragile and also do not allow them to express their anger & emotions. We live in such a pathetic world where women are too much objectified and females are ok accepting how the males want to run their lives. Hi khushboo ma'am. Thankyou so much making this video. A man of 40+ in my neighborhood used to stare me up and down and smile. Once started taking video of me. I stared at him back but he didnt stop. Then my brother and then my father indirectly told him to stop in a sober way but he didnt stop. Then one day i couldn't hold it and came home started crying. I was too scared of him felt so unsafe. Then my father told him we are coming to your house to talk to your daughter about something. And then he came home started saying sorry for any "misunderstanding". And then just after few days kolkata case happened. I was so so scared to even go out of the house. Those eyes of just any man looking at me would sacre me. But when you said "ki mai marungi toh 2 ko leke marungi" it felt so empowering. Its better to die out there instead of dying every minute inside your own head. You are absolutely right. Our society, movies, songs etc. indicate/treat girls like object. Even some girls don't think that they should do something that makes them independent, bold and strong. I am genuinely saying that i also tell my sister that you must be independent before your marriage and you should not be dependent. But she doesn't pay that much attention to these things. mam when i was younger i always wondered this fact that why always boys take part in all other activities in school , and i literally fell their dominance in every activity and i always tried my best to prove myself to them , i was the only girl who can make argue with boys even i used to beat one of the fastest runner of the class as teachers thaught that fastest runner would be one from boys , and i was the only girl in top 10 students of the class in academics always and for that reason i make sure that all other boys get other than first rank . but there were a phase when i move out for coaching and i uesd to inspire by a girl who got 3rd rank in district in 10 but she had very conservative thinking ,i used to sit with her and i influenced to a level that i losed my thaughts , thinking to a great extent and i turned into a very unconfident girl , i was more influenced ,concerned toward looks and appearence which affected my results also . know i am in a drop year and trying to figure out my self , you took me into my previous thaught process and you are my mentor , to whom i can look for guidance , your words just work for me like magic ,you have a great power to attack on the exact point it need to be
