Oh she’s definitely sorry but for all the wrong reason. She’s sorry that her big mouth just cost her a great many deals that will impact her companies success. Which makes this incident even more sad, as the only lesson she is going to take away from this is to watch what she says for the sake of her bank account vs really taking the the time to self reflect and change as a person. You’re right, she’s not sorry, just thought I’d add an interesting afterthought.

Who's eating what? She did know. That guy rents from the owner. It's not his house. Not his property. A lot of vandalism was going on. She didn't know what he was writing or what he was writing it with. She saw someone doing what she thought was vandalizing her neighbors property and was asking what he was doing. Funny how we didn't see her say or do anything racist or discriminatory, but that sure was done to her, wasn't it? She knows the owner of the mansion, and wanted to know why the guy is vandalizing the property. He defaced a property that he doesn't own. But now, in CA, NY, and liberal cities, they just let property crimes occur because that is allowed by local government. The DAs chose to ignore them, as they don't want to classify them as real crimes to bring down the official statistics. The politicians gaslight the public in saying crimes have declined, despite what's really happening. Human wastes and syringes on the sidewalks, car break-ins, ... are non-crimes now, and everyone is expected to accept this as the new norm. When it comes to your doorstep, it's time to celebrate getting what you voted for.

That is what makes her so especially guilty, blatantly lying about supposedly knowing the owner, so entitled that she thought it would never come back to embarrass and humiliate her, as it has done. The guy with her lost his position in a local company, financial management, I believe it was, just for being her accomplice. Her apology was obviously just an attempt at damage control, but failing to apologize to him personally exposes her lack of any remorse.

She knew the owner. She never met him this renter and thought he was vandalizing the owners property, because there was a lot of that going on at the time. She was trying to be a good neighbor. All he had to do was let her know he was a renter and be a person.
