On April 23, 2024, police were dispatched to the Family Fare grocery store in Midland, MI, to investigate a suspicious incident. The store manager reported that a contractor working on the roof had stumbled upon a 34-year-old woman, known as the 'roof ninja,' residing inside the store's rooftop sign. The sign had been transformed into a mini-apartment, containing items such as a printer, pantry, desk, and coffee maker. It was subsequently discovered that she had been residing there for quite a while.

@@WMHinschits weird. We have outreaches of different types through church. There was a lady that came a few times, works and rents her own home, had a daughter she took excellent care of. Her daughter performed highly in academics. She confided in my dad and I once that people sneak into her house every night and grape her without her waking up then sneak back out. She was being 100% sincere, just like this person was. This lady was extremely eloquent. I have an IQ in the 140s and I could tell she was easily as intelligent as me of more. Both her and the woman in this video make me think of the "intelligence is prone to neuroticism" which I think is extremely true, especially in certain youngian types. My buddy, who is also extremely intelligent, married a girl who is very nice, has her masters degree, is pretty much a concert violinist who can play multiple instruments who is now in her 30s and doesn't have her drivers license because she has an EXTRME irrational fear of driving. Shes an INTJ. My girlfriend is an INFJ and shes extrmely prone to anxiety too. John Nash Jr was a nobel laureate who was a genius polymath from Princeton. Due to stresses of life and his wife having a baby, he literally lost his mind for years into a state of paranoid schizophrenia. He being nominated for a Nobel prize brought he back to reality, regrounding him. The book/movie A Beautiful Mind was based on his life. She gives me those vibes. They make you crazy and feel like you’re the main character and people are after you basically. I know because I dipped in and out of them last year. My mental health was horrible. Besides the obvious. It just makes you negative and hate society and people. I live a normal well to do life I guess you can say. But it made me hate everything during my day to day. Honestly I don't see her as delusional. Based on her described experience, she maybe just decided to take that path intentionally and treat it as a lifestyle. She seems very capable of living according to social norms, evidenced by the fact she is working and has a completely functional and well kept "home", but instead chooses to live the way she does. As for the dressing in all black, it could be some skin issue, but covering self harm is another thing that came to mind. Point is, many people live through different eyes and see the world differently.

That's fine if it makes you happy, but you car enough to like your own posts. Did the girl have any right to be there, or have any true right to her stuff?? NO, BUT PART OF BEING A DECENT PERSON IS HAVING COMPASSION...AND FOSTERING GOOD COMMUNITY IS STAKED BY PEOPLE DOING THE NEXT RIGHT THING FOR OTHERS. Could the cops/manager/workers tell her to kick rocks, and sleep cold on a bench?? They could, but luckily they're good people. Its easy to cast aspersions on others, and play call their actions. It takes actual depth, and intellect to view it from their POV. If I had a sister with mental illness I would want her dealt with like this, and id wager you would as well.
@DebunkLeftyPropaganda
@DebunkLeftyPropaganda 3 месяца назад
@@Ms.Brightside77 I agree with both you & the person you're responding to. I'm conflicted on this. I respect and believe in property rights, at the end of the day this girl is intruding on the assets of other hard working citizens and putting them in a liability dilemma. But at the same time, have you ever been homeless? Have you ever been in a situation where you had to get away from abusive people? This woman seems very precarious when it comes to her family & peers, and displays fear about them knowing her whereabouts or anything about her. And she mentions she trains martial arts. I'm gonna assume that she might be from an abusive situation and have went through some form of trauma or PTSD. Especially when she displays paranoia regarding the owner and making bizarre claims like "the manager is probably gonna find my family & people and tell them where I am and etc". That's just such an odd thing to even think, that they would go out of there way to dox this woman & pay money to look up her relatives and then go through the effort of telling them the lady's whereabouts. There's just something really off about this lady, seems like she's caught in a bad situation. When you're in desperate situations, you sometimes have to take desperate measures. It's hard for regular citizens who grew up in regular upper middle class suburbs with tight knit family's, went to church, earn decent income, and have each other to fall on in hard times. There are people who are born into this world in very bad situations that are incomprehensible to the average middle class American who comes from a normal family & home. I don't like people who always play the victim card and use it as an excuse to engage in criminality, behave narcissistic, act like the world revolves around them, don't respect private property rights & sovereignty, infringe on other people's assets & hard work, and don't respect hard working regular citizens, etc. But at the same time I do see it from the other side, and do understand that sometimes people are put in circumstances where they have no choice but to do things the average civilian wouldn't do, or break the law. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. But there's a limit to that, I believe there's a difference between doing things illegally in desperate times short term when it's your only option vs making a complete lifestyle out of it, and never making attempts to assimilate into regular civilian life and live & contribute to society like the rest of us do. Let me put it more simply: there's a difference between breaking red lights & stop signs & breaking into a store to get away and hide from a gang criminals trying to carjack & kidnap you... vs living your entire life always breaking red lights, stop signs, never obeying the rule of law, breaking into places & stealing your entire life, and thinking to yourself you can just do it indefinitely and believing the world revolves around you.

@@bernicegoldham1509 I used to live in a town that built 'tiny homes' for homeless people out of storage crates and it was extremely cost effective for providing shelter to people who want it.

@@bernicegoldham1509 it really doesn't take much if you have access to food and water. as someone who spent 4-5 years homeless, she had a better place than i did.

I was homeless once in the jungles of Panama! I had clean water from a nearby creek. I had to move from time to time though because I got tired of the landscape. I hunted monkeys for food (poor monkeys 😞) and I made sure I told them this wasn’t personal. The U.S. Army special forces detected me one day and that was the end of it! I was trespassed and kicked out of the country. I could write a book…

Most homeless people are drug addicts. It’s wild that you think a drug addict should be provided free housing.

She's down on her luck, she was respectful, and people had compassion. That's the way it should go.

I don't think she's down on her luck, the way you likely mean anyhow. The way she was talking gives off ex-military/PTSD vibes

She just needs help, but sadly you can't force help onto people. She was affored housing assistance and declined it.

@@Icybubba and you don't think that qualifies as down on your luck? How much worse can it get? Getting sold a BS story of American exceptionalism and greatness by rich politicians that would never send their own kids to serve only to be traumatized and to be extremely lucky to come back home alive and not missing any limbs. Then when you get back state side you realize no one gives a damn what you did and sacrificed for them. You call the VA to ask about medical assistance and they either never call you back or they tell you that your situation isn't covered. You end up turning to drugs for temporary relief even though you know it's wrong. You end up homeless within 5 years because you don't have any support system to help you and nowt he police and government consider you a threat because of the training they gave you. What part of that doesn't qualify as down on your luck?

This is prob one of the best interactions I’ve seen on this channel. The cops are super chill and funny, the manager is super chill, and the roof ninja too

And the roofers fixing the roof were willing to help her in any way they could. The one officer was so intrigued about how she got up there and how she managed to get her belongings up there. He thought she took it up there piece by piece. She's smarter than that. A tote or something similar with a rope attached would work with no danger of falling carrying items.
