On the Church part, I "WAS" a faithful member of a church was Head Deacon etc.. and let me express at my tenure I saw somethings and heard somethings that were disturbing and even witness things, after a period of time I felt more and more distant from the sermons to things I witnessed, I finally gave it all up, and afterwards my life had gotten a whole lot better, and it's true, these Pastors pander the women and I even noticed how lesser and lesser men were coming, that question was asked "Why aren't the men coming to church" I never said anything due to they knew why, but wanted a different answer than the unadulterated truth...

A coworker who is a pastor at his church became angry when I respectfully declined his invitation. He was insistent on knowing why I declined and actually became rude. I finally answered him by saying I actually listen to people when they speak to me, so I already had a general understanding of his beliefs and I suspected the chirch would have females leading, teaching, and having authority over men. I told him that if his church refused to even teach the simple things, then I could never receive value from it in anything else.
