Woman Refused To Move Feet For Elderly, flight Attendant Teaches Painful Lesson 

I had a similar incident about 15 years ago on Alaska airlines. When I boarded the plane headed for Hawaii and found my window seat there was a rather large woman sitting in my seat. I asked to her to please move that she was sitting in my seat and I even reached out so she could see my boarding pass. She told me to just sit down and stop harassing her. So I asked a flight attendant to speak with her. The flight attendant told her she would have to move to her assigned seat. The woman then got up and shuffled out to the aisle so I could sit down. I sat down and she sat down into her aisle seat. She immediately shoved her right leg into the space in front of me and shoved her right right arm across the arm rest and into my side. The attendant asked her to keep herself in her own seat and the woman shouted you are discriminating against me because of my weight. The flight attendant then walked forward and I could see her speaking with another attendant. She then walked back and asked the fat woman to please stand up into the aisle and told me that she had a seat for me in first class! So the large woman, I would guess she was 300 pounds and maybe 5'4", got up and I went forward with the flight attendant to my seat in first class. She apologized to me several times and I told her it was not her fault and thanked her for moving me. I almost walked back and thanked the fat woman for her behavior but decided not to. First class was awesome!

Parents, please teach your children courtesy and respect towards others and how to act in public. There are too many adults whose parents failed to teach these principles.

Some people don't know the meaning of respect. I'm glad the gentleman didn't get out of control. I would like to thank the Young Lady for the way she handled the situation without letting it get out of control. She was truly a very good and amazing woman and Worker. Please learn to respect your elders because some day it could be you. It could happen to you rather you are old or young. I hope this young lady learned a lesson about being kind.

Im always in awe on how flight attendants handle passengers. They get a lot of practice concerning difficult people

A lot of young people in the country were born after 9-11. They don’t realize that flying comes with responsibilities. They think it is just a bus, or something. There are heavy Federal Laws now…for every passenger.

U can tell by the way someone treats the elderly no class😮!

And the problem is that we don’t hold anybody accountable for their misbehavior. We are told you can’t discipline children and we are told you can’t discipline adults. I’m old enough to remember that when you flew on a plane, you dressed in your Sunday best and everybody behaved, if my grandfather had been sitting next to the young lady, he would’ve asked her to please move her foot. If she didn’t he would’ve asked again then he would’ve done something more direct and I would’ve put it in the text, but RU-vid has already put me in timeout more than once. Which is only funny because they show extremely violent videos ones that they make money off of, but if I were to use my first amendment right and say what should’ve been done, they put me in time out lol and that proves the very point I’m making.

I cant understand how a healthy 20 something year old got her seat before an elderly man with mobility issues, when people with mobility issues get boarded first

I stood up for my 2 AMAZING study buddies when the "elements" on our class had been condescending, racist in loud despicable bullying fashion. One thing i WAS normally their target, yet when they TURNED on MY friends, I had had ENOUGH. One of them was WHITER than the walls, and was on the WERGE of QUITTING the education altogether. I told him I was on the way to speak to our study counselor, who also happened to have been our psychology professor at the start of our education. Ive been bullied since 2nd or 3rd grade when i was informed I needed glasses. I was bullied as a kid, as a teen, as an young adult and as an adult. I have experience. One thing is Im being bullied, I coped as I always did, sticking my nose in my study books and transferred myself into a bubble where all sounds were muted and fogged. Yet targeting MY friends fired me up. My other study buddy was also surprised that I would take this issue on and up. In a way it made me stronger and our friendship deepened. It still exists to this day.

Oh they are everywhere. I’m glad it never happened to me they think I’m young . I have all the privileges from group military ID and first class . I have the only complain I have is bad breath . That’s why I can’t seat with no one or food I have so much allergies. All I do speak nice to flight attendants not telling nothin but ask someone offer a drink then tell me why I need to move. It horrible stink so bad he did ask abs told me move your choice .
