Sneha a metropolitan has such an immense grip over the native vocals be it UP or Bihar. There’s this research that always goes with her, try listening lucky oye and all in a sudden she captures the basic Punjabi beats all the way to desi Haryanvi in the song Tu raja ki raaj dulari. She has this inner sense of fusion of mixing up beat techno to the hard core Indian. What a talent she is
The lyrics of the song are written with a lot of intelligence.. there’s this part in the lyrics where they substitute “Patna” for “satna (सटना)” [doing the deed] and then later it goes “rahiyo na babuna ko ticket kataniya Patna na jaana chaahe jaana Siwaniya” Fabulous 👍🏻😄❤️
i remember oye lucky lucky oye, her music all but carried the film. hats off to such a bold director, going into the heartlands to find the right sounds! in a way, she single-handedly does what music reality shows proclaim to do - just a lot more effectively.
