@@RomanSharf Thanks for reply Roman ! here is the last link Paul has managed to do for you to view ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-URxAbzi7gSc.html i think he will announce grand total etc at the Brighton watch show :) im sure you will agree after you watch how amazing this family is
Interesting timepiece from Corum and speaking of affordable world timers, what are your thoughts on the Girard Perregaux Financial World Time? Seems like a gorgeous and fairly complicated watch that could be obtained second hand between $5500-6000. The fact that it designates world market times also resonates with me. What’s your take?
RS as you probably know I am a huge GP collector (hence I don't collect as an investor having nearly every model in the GP collection), it all started when my AD from Australia invited me to the launch of the GP Constant Escapement, on the night it was being launched by the then CEO & Director of Marketing, the guest Speaker was Wei Koh whom was brilliant & this is how I came to meet him all those years ago & know him now. They wanted to get a first sale of the watch, on offer was a lifetime of servicing, picking your watch up from factory, getting to polish one part, lunch with the CEO and a few other experiences, as I held the watch in my hand which was the larger model in Titanium back then at just over $160K AUD I fell in love with it, as my friends at my table were laughing saying at least no one will rob you in the street with that on as they will think you are wearing a swatch...with Wei Koh constantly coming over to reinforce how brilliant this watch was after listening to him speak as he is an amazing public speaker as you would know, I could feel my Centurion card slowly sliding out of my wallet & the watch was sold...and to this day I always carry one in my rotation as I now own three different models of them, I didn't pay as much for the next two picking them up at someone else's misfortune, but I love the watch as much today as I did then & I will continue to buy them until I have the full collection.
Thank you Roman. I have decided at this time in life no wristwatch at all. I invest in fine hand made leather classic shoes instead... also bespoke jackets sartoria Naples...
charlie s if you say so 😱 But Corum is a quirky brand obscure and a whole lot less mainstream than any IWC.. still I rather have a quirky value for money conversation piece over a IWC/Breitling/Panerai. See where I am going here.. Same as why I prefer a Breguet Type XX over a Speedy.., but that’s the best thing about personal preference and taste you are allowed to have one ;-)
I like the Corum World Timer. The transparent case on the back of the Corum showing the key and thecity names is very beautiful. I like the innovative Hublot Golf with the golf holes pushers and the easy to change strap.
Agree A+ on the Hublot. Weight (and handling the shock) is more important then size in a Golf watch. Looks great even if just to wear to social events around golf, after all not many dive in a dive watch.
Hi Roman, you took us to school 👌🏻 I love that GP watch 👌🏻 I play golf and wear a Garmin S20 so I don’t think a watch can disturb your game unless you never had a watch on before while playing. Love the content, keep it up 🙏🏻
Hey Roman, another great video. All three watches are very unique & something you just don't see out in the wild.. Really dig the Corum world time & have always liked the Admirals Cup pieces..
Great video as always Roman. Quick question on the GP. Do you feel as though them blacking out the whole watch like that was a mistake? It's a beautiful piece with an amazing movement (never seen it before your video).
Wonder when the Patent run's out on that escapement. It would be great to see the rest of the watch world build that into watches Standard. Yea Right Keep Dreaming.
Hi Roman. I’d like your opinion on what watch I should add next to my collection. Currently have a date just 2, a hulk, ceramic steel Daytona white dial, and a Panerai luminor 510. I have my eye on the 1) Day date 40 rose gold 60th anniversary, green dial 2) Rose gold Daytona leather strap with ceramic bezel, chocolate dial Arabic numerals 3) 41mm AP royal oak chrono blue dial
Good morning Roman, as always another great video, this is probably a silly question, what do you think about Glycine and Christopher ward? I love watches, and one of my goals is to get a Rolex, one day, I'm saving for that :) I know that the brands I'm asking about are not in the same level as Rolex or Breitling, etc, but I was thinking starting with a swiss made automatic watch with a lower tag price, since I can not afford a Rolex now, thank you for sharing your horological experience and great videos with us, RU-vidrs like you are the reason I love this platform very much! Z.
I'm not a huge Hublot fan, but showing off with this watch on the golf course, even after taking 15 strokes to hit a hole, would be something else. Really nice work And by the way, Corum is one of the most amazing brands that I discoved watching your channel. The Golden Bridge model in rose gold, with a case that looks like a RM, it's a true piece of art. It would be amazing to see one of those here on the channel.
