That was an intense recap; it made me cry. Depression can be very difficult to deal with sometimes; even when you're taking anti-depressants to function on a daily basis to appear "normal". It can lead to a very lonely life because you don't want to burden anyone because everybody has their own issues that they are dealing with.
The movie never actually tells us what's her problem. She keeps listening to a voicemail or something like someone died but that's not the case. Also, the character Sam.........just started hanging out with a rebound girl who's bisexual.
Cute story. But in reality, "love" doesn't cure depression. Especially so severe (since she wants to end things). Looking for a good person to heal your pain can even worsen the situation because you feel guilty when someone is so kind to you, but you still can't get things together...
BS if you are depressed a BF will not make it better, or prevent that.. the only thing is that life can be a bit easier but it will not resolve the depression.. it is very wrong to give people the idea that a BF is a solution for depression ..
