I don’t think that’s what this guy is saying, the holy spirit has a direct relationship with every person even little children, this is about being a pastor and women not having authority over a man within the church and within marriage. Out of all the followers Jesus had, he chose all 12 of his apostles to be men. Not a single woman was chosen to be a apostle, clearly not a coincidence. The first/early church that Jesus established also had only men preaching. Also the verse 1 Timothy 2:12 clearly supports the fact that only Men have the right to preach in the Church. At the end of the day though both men and women have a equal roles in the church that both provide importance, thus supporting the idea of men and women being equal even further.

Bearing in mind all the apostles met with gruesome torture and death you think it appropriate for an all knowing Jesus to pick women or maybe children ? In the culture of the day, women had no legal standing, they were not believed as witnesses, and if they performed miracles were generally burned as witches. How you can use the word equal I don't know. I recommend you consult a dictionary before using words you don't know the meaning of.
