I owned companies that service homes…electrician, pest control, plumbing. Most clients are single women. They have plenty of money or credit on their cards, but no man (other than blood relatives) to help in any way. Most are truly lonely. We see it in the way the touch our shoulders, biceps, etc…..You can tell when they ask about your techs personal lives, when they make service requests for simple things any man can do. Older single women realize after menopause that their 401k, pets, girlfriend trips, brunches, shopping are not enough. They really are lonely, and regret growing old alone with an empty home/bed at night. Loneliness is real America.

I used to go hiking in N. California. A number of times I went with a group. No matter how much the women (who came with us) "knew" about wildlife / nature, they coward behind us whenever we came across an animal. One time we actually saw a puma (obviously smaller than a bear) and they lost their shti. In Indian and African villages children and women get taken out by wildlife. These western women have no idea what waiting for them should we abandon them.

It’s sad because I never reduce my husband to simply fixing things around the house or taking out the trash. This is a whole individual with purpose, strengths, skill sets, intelligence, and a wealth of experiences. Of all those things, I can’t name one that I personally as a wife don’t benefit from. More importantly because my husband is who he is, I can rest in my feminine. I’ve been with my husband since I was 22 and I have yet to have a single woman or single mother complaint.

Real women in the real world need men. Last month I almost lost my wonderful husband of 48 years to an unexpected illness. Due to prayer, great doctors, and help from our great kids, he is on the mend. I count my abundant blessings. These stupid women really need to reflect on their blessings.
