Flightglobal chatted with Spitfire first officer Molly Rose at an RAeS seminar. She talks about how she learned to fly at a young age, being accepted by her male colleagues, ferrying Spitfires and twin-engined bombers during WW2
My Grandmother! So proud of her, she had some of the most incredible stories you've ever heard. Her husband Bernard Rose also served and came in on D-Day, and was captured and sent to POW Camp Oflag-79. They were an extraordinary couple. Lovely to here her voice again. Thanks!
