More than 20,000 newborns have been born since October 7 in Gaza. Between bombs and displacement, with no prospect of a ceasefire, hundreds of women and mothers are facing very difficult conditions faced with a shortage of medicines, epidurals and feminine hygiene products.Our Observer Dr. Haya Hijazi, an OB-GYN in Rafah, tells the France24 Observers how doctors are trying to provide medical care with makeshift equipment to female and pregnant patients displaced in the south of the enclave.
