I love how Kate’s character gets progressively drunker as the skit goes on

"Isn't it hard being a woman in the workplace in the 1990s?" "Sure can." I love subtle stuff like this. The writing is supposed to be bad, but you can't always beat the audience over the head with it. A subtle little thing where the answer to the question can be understood, but at the same time doesn't actually match the question that was asked, gives it that little something extra. And I've literally seen non-ironic commercials that get this wrong. There was one along the lines of, "Don't you wish you could [thing]? Now there is!"
