Its funny how easily they are influenced by their friends, maybe you should count one vote if its a group choosing the same

I've tried both Encre Noire and TF Oud Wood, and while they seem to be equally adored by many, personally, I find Encre Noire to be a bit too intense for everyday wear. Don't get me wrong, it's a great scent, but its strength and heaviness make it more suitable for special occasions rather than a casual day out. On the other hand, TF Oud Wood strikes a perfect balance for me - it's luxurious yet versatile, making it effortless to wear anytime, anywhere.

Lalique Encre Noire is a beast! A dark beast. I love it! A blind buy that I don't regret for a second. I would be curious to see people describing these perfumes using one word only. I wonder how many would describe it as 'dark'. Maybe you could try that one day.

Lalique fragrances are not cheap on release. They cost as much as the Hermes, Dior, Chanel designer lines. Make no mistake.

Oud is pronounced ood...you butcher the pronunciation man 😅

I like both, both classy scents, but I pick Oud Wood. Oud Wood smells like varnished or lacquered wood with some creamy spice added to calm and smoothen it a bit. It's more of a versatile every day scent. Encre Noire smells like a mix between a forest after it has rained and an old orange you put in a bag but forgot about. Not as versatile for me personally, would only wear it for hiking or jogging on crisp colder spring/fall days. I can see it being worn (by men) at a dressed up formal business type of event too.

Its so surprising that they actually smell very similar, i have tested them today side by side and on a test strip they are very similar, though nobody in community mentions them to be similar.

Quite surprise that came close to Oud wood, must be pretty good then. Great video like it 👍

Honestly Tom Forrd is hard to go againt+st in their perfumes bcs they blend them so perfect and likeable encre noir can be happy
