I sometimes get teary eyed over happy/very emotionally charged scenes in movies or particularly beautiful cinematography/animation and soundtracks. My boyfriend thinks that's cute, however, not because he thinks me crying is cute but because he knows I'm not actually sad but rather just appreciate art to the point of crying happy tears. And THAT he thinks is cute. I don't usually cry when something bad happens and become completely void of any emotions.. But I doubt he'd think it's cute if I cried in a terrible situations/due to feeling hurt. Like that's psychopathic.
As a woman, it’s incredibly frustrating when I go to the store for one thing and get stuck there for five hours because I need to wait for a man to open the big heavy strong door with his gigantic man meat arms. Truly a struggle we don’t talk about enough.

It's a tactic to make people ever more angry. When you say horrible, demeaning things in a soft spoken way it drives people crazy sometimes. These kinds of dudes love for that shit.

(disclaimer: I'm not an expert I read a few articles and kinda remember them) Women who have undergone FGM/female genital cutting are usually either physically forced to do so, or are raised with the idea that this is an important coming of age ritual (or that women who don't have it done are unclean). Either way, it's not remotely comparable to bottom surgery. I don't think it's comparable to most surgeries, since even the ones influenced by social pressures are much safer.
I live in a country (not in Africa since this man only thinks it happens there) where it’s tradition to perform circumcision on girls as babies and I’ve had a girl open up to me that they did her circumcision wrong and now she experiences pain and can’t even look at her own genitals because of how disfigured her body is. General practice they cut a woman’s clitoris out so she can’t experience sexual pleasure. It’s disgusting.
They do it in my country too. It's to deprive women from sexual pleasure. Or they sometimes do it under the name of "sewing back your virginity" and all the illiterate women who don't know that they don't have a curtain down there, go to these surgeries, only to have their genitals severely mutilated.

Even kids can open almost all doors. Is he implying women just get weak during puberty or something? And the jar thing.. Usually if I can't open it, neither can most dudes in which case you can simply exploit physics to open the jar (tap on it, make a hole in the lid, run it under hot water, etc.). But I guess using one's brain for problem solving and not one's brute strength is beyond his comprehension.

Men being unable to open up emotionally and seek help is a huge part of the reason men (in the US) are three to five times more likely than women to die of suicide. Other men actually tend to be pretty bad at helping men through emotionally rough times. Case in point: this guy. He's misogynist for sure, but he is also no friend to men and men's wellbeing.
*nods sadly* yes, i think men like this often lack friends in general. sounds like anyone left in his life is not a good influence. and he's probably not great toward them. if he doesn't develop some self-awareness he's looking at a continuing downward spiral.
these are also the guys who would bring up male suicide rates as some kind of gotcha in debates or conversations while totally ignoring and dismissing the reasons why it's so high in the first place.

Statistically men and women attempt suicide almost at an equal rate. The only reason men are more likely to die from suicide, though attempt at the same rate as women, is because men choose more violent methods of suicide that are more likely to guarantee end of life.
@@jaclo3112 the way in which a person chooses to attempt is in an of itself indicative of their mental state. Men are more likely, by a wide margin, to attempt in ways that more violent and likely to complete the act. Men also are more likely to attempt without having ever been treated. Men die more often of suicide because of methods and the mental state that leads to choosing those methods. If you swallow a handful of pills it’s possible (though obviously not everyone who does this) that you at least subconscious hoping someone will find you. If you put a gun in your mouth you are definitively TRYING to die. Like I said, the psychology there isn’t exact and people’s thought processes vary a lot. But I think it’s really dismissive to not acknowledge that men’s lack of access to help contributes to their choices
@@Taumpy and yet men and women attempt suicide at the same rate, regardless of mental health assistance. The only difference is men choose violent means while women choose non violent clean methods. Either way it turfs the false claim of men being 3-5 times more likely to commit suicide because they don't open up emotionally. Men and women commit suicide at almost equal rates.

@Alina Kelle honestly my only issue with anti fgm activism is that they should have the same attitude towards circumcision because any form of “fgm” or female circumcision is considered immoral even when performed by a certified gynaecologist. i’m against forcing a woman into this (also they’re rarely fully grown women they’re usually young girls forced to do this at around 7)
I don't think you'll ever hear an argument from him which isn't stupid. I've (unfortunately) seen more videos reacting to all the nonsense he emits, and everything he says is a textbook example of improper argumentation delivered in a voice which tells that he really thinks he just only speaks mic-drop worthy revelatory quotes.
