The Office of the Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security at NATO promotes and coordinates the implementation of the NATO/EAPC Policy and Action Plan built on the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and related Resolutions. War and conflict have a disproportionate impact on women and children. Historically women have been left out of peace processes and stabilization efforts. The Women, Peace and Security agenda aims to inspire a new approach to international security, where the views and actions of women are as important as those of men.

You are right, much more needs to be done

Unfortunately it's taking much more time than expect to find the evidence that war-zones are more dangerous for men than women. I was trying to figure out if we are being told this was always the case... because post WWII there was an abundance of females due to how many men actually died. It was my understand that this was still the case in recent conflict zones, but that's unclear, it seems. What I'm saying, that because citations consist of a bunch of dead links, that I have to hold this statement in contempt. It appears to be false. I'm not saying that the policy or your methods are wrong, but that the emotional appeal is inaccurate.
