I recently started to using Yves and I must to say that the first impression was the smell of a person just coming out of the bathroom using a well-scented soap, but after a couple of hours I couldn't stop receiving compliments on how good was my perfume smelled.
Sup Moshen! It's me again! I wanted to present you an idea, and I will tell you why it's effective. Can you spray it on both wrist, one fragrance on one side, and one on the other? Fragrances smell COMPLETELY different on skin than on paper. I remember I think you did a comparison of YSL Y and Fahkar black, and so did Darnel Mitchell as well, and the reactions were complete opposite of the battle you did via paper! I also have noticed frags smelling completely different on my skin than on paper, and many others as well. Thanks for the consideration and keep up the good work! :)
Please don’t forget that almost every lady there mentioned that Dior smells sweet. The sweet and dark smell of a perfume is for cold seasons while the other one is for summer seasons. Unfortunately I have ordered ysl y elixir and am going to test it and give you a good review. The only thing that stuck to my mind was the comment of that cute blonde saying it smells like the axe body sprays. I really hope it doesn’t smell like that 😅
Based on my own experience and the experiences of American fragrance reviewers, I truly think that Y elixir would absolutely win and knock Sauvage elixir out of the park. American women (and men tbh) favor fresher scents. Dior sauvage Elixir is actually quite disliked here. Everyone I've asked their opinions about the y elixir have told me that they really really really love it. They say it's clean and sporty and fresh. I think Europeans want to smell "luxurious" while Americans just want to smell like a fun time. Prada L'homme, for example, isn't really liked here. That's a luxurious soap smell. Y elixir has more of a fresh sporty soapy scent. Not exactly shower gel, But a little bit more mature.
