The women's 100m hurdles provided some of the best entertainment on the final evening of the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.
Pia Skrzyszowska stormed to Poland's third gold medal of the Championship with victory in 12:53, ahead of Hungary's Luca Kozak and Switzerland's Ditaji Kambundji.

She’s pretty much a national treasure. I mean, with so good and consistent results at such a young age, it’s pretty safe to say she’ll absolutely dominate over Europe someday, if she’s not already starting to do that. And who knows, maybe even compete with the best in the world, who are currently strongly ahead of the European level

Not necessarily sembers pb is 12:50 and pias is 12:51 and she only ran 00:02 off of her pb. Sember would have had to equal her pb or only be 2 hundredths bechind it to win.

What? Pias pb was only 00:01 slower than sember. And the final time is only 00:02 slower than pias best. Sember would have to even her pb to beat pia which isn’t always the case
