Ben Den, if you say , thats some really slow times, i wonder, what is your reference ? Dafne run 22.07 , ok slower than her 21.63 in 2015. But faster than the two Jamaicans who won the World title before her. SAFP Moscow 2013 22.17 , Ahoure second place 22.32. And before that in 2011 , VCB won the World title in 22.22 s , second Felix 22.42. So REALLY slow times ?

Very strong athlete. If only she had a better start in her make-up! She is soooo strong over the last 40m. That is where many of her races are won from. She is and always will be a darling of the track!!!

The live shot of dafne running full speed is both violent amazing and explosive. She is an incredible athlete. She actually looks like she could tear a telephone book in half with her bare hands. Never seen such a combination of both strength and beauty in a human before.

Talking about long legs. Shaunae is even longer than Daffie but not heavier. Dafne is built more robust and therefor to heavy for short distance. Yet she menage to become worldchampion over the 60m. aswell. Impressive, with this huge disadvantage . She must be 1.5 times stronger than the 50 kg dwarfs.

Great white queen. Not easy to compete with the generally superior black women who run as powerfully and as gracefully a gazelles. The fact she is the only white there says everything about how amazing the blacks are in track events. Considering that she`s an anomaly. The black women are queens too. The race starts at 6:00....the commentators are obnoxious at best. The titans of Jamaica and Team USA were not in this race, but great race for Dafne Schippers. She is a solid runner, along with Ta Lou. Great experience for the US collegiate runners.

I find it interesting that the ( white ) British commentators clearly favour the ( black ) British athlete over the ( white ) Dutch athlete .Maybe it's a British thing . With every other ethnicity people always want their own ethnicity to triumph regardless of what country's uniform they are wearing ie black people will always want a black athlete to win

Wow. Track n field sprints lures you in, as a fan, like no other sports event. You know? You tentatively want Schippers to win, and the gun goes off, and there are these women who run the 200 meters differently. Some start off well. Some finish well. Schippers had to start fast, hit a lull half way, get passed a bit, and then finish strong to win at the last seconds. This is PURE excitement. I don't think I've been watching enough track n field over the years. Anyway. I go to Amsterdam, twice a year, minus pandemic times. Maybe she'll be buying a space cake at Rookies, when I'm there.
