All they need is Mapi, Patri, Claudia Pina and Panos and the World Cup is a formality, Vilda or no Vilda. He can spend his time hiking in New Zealand -- who knows, maybe he'll get lost or kidnapped by a band of Orcs.... We live in hope.
@@Antares2F Imagine, they won without Vilda as well as without Mapi, Patri, Pina and Panos -- how good is that?! I imagine the lame Alexia took over the management after Japan and instructed that the captain (Ivana) and vice-captain (Misa) are to be dropped and, hey presto, we have ourselves a World Cup. She's still lame and they still can't do without her running the show.
@@Antares2F I dislike Montse Tome. She seems to me to be incompetent and a fearfully insecure bully who can't even get on with the easiest of dutiful professionals, Aitana Bonmati. Many of the best players in the world are on this team, even without counting Mapi, Patri, Pina and Panos, but there is only one Reina Alexia XI with the personality and genius to lead a team of greats. Zidanes, Xavis, Guardiolas, Beckenbauers, Socrates and Platinis are not born every day; they are a different animal to even your CR7s and Ada Hegebergs as charismatic as they may be.
@@Antares2F Tell me something I don't already know. One of us was right from before the World Cup up until now and the other deals in fairy tales and fantasy. Here's another truth bomb for you: Tome's Spain wont make the Olympics qualification. She'll probably find some elaborate excuse that blames the players and Barca for failure to qualify. I imagine the federation will stand by her as Real Madrid stands by Toril.
I really, really like half of the squad, but I'm sorry, this Spanish national team won't make it to the semi-finals of WC. maybe the girls would solve it, without the coach thank you very much for the video!!!
I disagree. I don't really want them to do well, as the situation with the coach is beyond appalling, but I still think there is a very good chance of them making it to the latter stages of the competition. They have had some decent results and played some impressive football, not to mention the squad is still very strong. I think you have to separate not wanting them to succeed from realistically assessing their chances of succeeding.
