TY for another great video, Cartier! I consider these two women to be phenomenal. l didn't know Meena was a best-selling children's author. Yara is so beautiful and smart. We women of color don't really have a choice other than to be activists to make the world better. What we don't do, no one else will do. And if we want to be treated fairly, we have to be brave and step forward to help drive change even though it is personally tough. "Don't complain. DO something." Roll up your sleeves and get to work. If you have a positive vision of something in your head, turn it into reality. The universe put the idea in your head because someone in the world needs your help. All unshakable truths. Again, TY for producing this content. It was GREATLY appreciated!👑 PS. I never ask children what they want to be when they grow up. I ask what they enjoy doing. I then watch to see what things they name that cause them to smile and their eyes to sparkle. When I see a child smile, no matter how weird their interest, I always encourage them to learn more about what they mentioned. Kids seem to respond better to me when I take this approach. I know this is too laid back an way to encourage kids for people who actually are parents, but I do this because I think children don't need undue pressure from the adults around them or who random strangers they meet. Kids today have so many uncertain situations and pressurs on them such as academic testing and competition, active shooter events, bullying from classmates, the threat of video game and social media addiction, etc. It's a lot for kids and teens. It's a lot ofr me, and I'm an adult! 😱 I want the child I'm talking with to always feel that there's at least one adult in the world listening to their heart and dreams. I think this helps encourage them after I keave their presence. In response, I am often blessed to get a hug from the kids or teens that I meet. It makes me feel so warm inside. 🥰 Hugs from children are a great motivator to keep fighting for positive change in the world when it gets tough. And lord knows, it sure gets tough sometimes. 💪✊🕊️
