Nervy weekend for her and weird choice of darts rather than just putting a 2BA steel tip on her Emprechu Tiga ones she normally uses. Would like to see her come back for a sustained period and do a few competitions rather than being cold in at the deep end like she was this time. Great that she came over though, didn't expect that.
Careful, I commented on how good I believe she is and people tore into me last vid, lol... I agree... I think she is a very smooth thrower, and has a TON of potential.
@@john37foldgaming To be fair a lot of people will have seen her at the weekend who had never heard of her before and don't get the fuss. In isolation that's fair, but I'd say a few things. Firstly, she's not using her own darts and she's normally a fat barrel thrower (17g is a light dart but the Tiga Emprechu are bulb-shaped darts) switching here to long slim barrels, which is a huge adjustment. She also normally wears high-soled white trainers but has to wear shoes here, which might be another adjustment. Secondly as I already said, she (and Mikuru) flew over just in time for the weekend with no proper steel tip practice or run of steel tip events before this, so not great preparation. Last of all, Yukie right now is not the Yukie of 2 years ago, generally out of practice in tournament events like all of the Japan tour players and having to find her form again. We've seen Mikuru struggle until finally winning event 12, so it's a lot to expect immediate results. That said, I hope this becomes a regular thing. It'd be even better if the PDC and the WDF could get a real working relationship going and coordinate the Women's Series with Lakeside qualifiers to give the international women a real incentive to come over from wherever to have a go. The Japan tour is well-run and promoted but I'm sure we'll be missing out on other prospects as well. This weekend we had the Welsh Open compete with the Women's Series which is not ideal, maybe if the new WDF hierarchy are not looking to be enemies with the PDC and the PDC gives WDF events a second thought this could really take off with international entrants.
Suzuki and other Japanese players do have more steel tip opportunities now with more serious online tournaments on FIDO steel tip darts machines. It's not in person, but it still provides decent practice. If you look for FIDO Online Cup and FIDO Online Premier League (team league consisting of constructor teams e.g. Target, Unicorn) you can see some footage.
It's blind draw. Seeding isn't a thing. Makes sense in these multiple event tourneys where you're playing 2-4 tournaments/events in a day and simply ripping through best of 5 and 7 matches. You get more parody this way. The cream still rises to the top in the long run.
Until the woman get thire averages up even higher on a regular basis.thay would never win the world title against the men.odd win against men that's it.i would love to see it but won't hold my breath
