Im a woman and 6 ft tall. Taller than average. Still cant cover someone 6'3". This is not right. Time to stop the lies. Only men should be covering in the secret service.

True. It needs to be competence. It's outrageously poor management much more than gender. I'm a woman and I've worked security at government facilities. My cowardly male 6' supervisor froze up during a serious emergency and put thousands of people at risk. I had to step in to do HIS job. Still furious. 99% of women can't. But refusing the 1% means more male incompetents will be hired. And COMPETENT women can do support duties like perimeter patrol and glassing rooftops.
A police officers friend of mine many years ago had a female Rookie partner and because of her in the ugly part of Los Angeles south central they got into big trouble because she didn’t have the strength to control a suspect and they almost got killed!! Luckily he had called for backup and help got there just in time!!
I'm a 70 year old woman and I agree that women should not be bodyguards! These 3 short women trying to prop up, carry and "cover" President Trump were a joke!!! That one at the front couldn't even holster her firearm. The Secret Service must be revamped, starting at the top. No women in the President's detail!
Did you all see the video from Chicago of four female CPD that couldn’t subdue one man that wasn’t resisting much? The four women were calling for additional backup. You think that maybe four additional female CPD would have been able to subdue the man if he truly resiste. No lesson was learned. Chicago still plans to fill 40% of its ranks with women DEI hires.

As a former female police officer I agree with you that not all women should be cops. I remember how most male cops would even call off work if they knew they’d be paired up for certain females. And not because they are women but because they knew they were of no help. I never experienced that though. Nobody ever called off because they had to work with me. They knew I was going to get down and dirty with them and I’m 5’0 latina lol but I didn’t play. I may not have the height but I have the heart and I wasn’t afraid because I knew God was with me and no evil could touch me. But not all women operate this way.
I'm about 6'3" and weighed about 235 lbs at the time I had a health incident in a third floor apartment, and when one of the two responding paramedics, was about a 5'4", 110 lbs woman I knew I was in trouble. And I was in trouble, she did not have the strength to carry one end of the rescue stretcher down the stairs. It ended up taking about 30 minutes to get down those stairs because a female first responder was not capable of doing the job. Please, keep in mind that the Paramedics were warned before hand of the location, (third floor no elevator), and my size of 6'3", 235 lbs before they came, and they still sent someone they knew was incapable of doing the job. If my emergency had been my Heart or something like that, I would be dead, for the sake diversity and feelings. It's not right, and I seriously wonder how many people die every year because of this forced diversity nonsense.
My husbands a paramedic and when he has a tiny emt with him he knows its gonna be a bad day because they can't lift anything or anyone. And then HE gets injured. My brother was a firefighter, and same thing! There are some careers that weren't meant for females and there is no shame in that!
Firefighter EMT here. I've worked at two private ambulance companies. Women are nothing more than a checked box on a social credit score. Not saying women shouldn't be cops, firefighters, or in the military. But if you cannot meet the standard you should find another career. Bonus points if you are a minority, not straight, and overweight. I'm probably going to end up doing CPR on my 300 pound partner before to long.

When watching this the first time, these two women stood right out. Looking every which way, no specific job, needlessly pulling a firearm, failing to holster, girlfriend comes to distract, how do I put this gun away? I laughed and said, "They're clueless", a regular Larry and Curly.
As a 70 y/o old woman, women should never be in the Secret Service. I was born in 1954, grew up in the 60s. There are jobs meant for men and those meant for women. Men and women are not the same!!! I raised my children alone. Their father left. I worked and provided for them, as a nurse. Biologically and emotionally men and women are different. That is the way God created us. Women should wear that proudly. There are jobs we can do and do better then men. But, men are different then us and do some jobs better then us. Except our differences and be proud of who we are!
Patience, endurance, reasoning, compassion, empathy are all forms of strength that women possess more than men. As you have. But we all know thats a very different kind of strength than needed for this type of no nonsense security work. My grandmother is the toughest person ive ever known, but she also couldn't physically be a firefighter. She grew up in Minnesota (imagine an outhouse in the middle of winter in Minnesota-thats tough) at the beginning of the 1900s through the depression both world wars, she harvested livestock, seamstress, manicurist, ran boarding houses, sec for FBI, switchboard operator, all kinds of trades. She survived four brain operations for tumors in her golden years. Like i said toughest person ive ever met and still a woman at heart who would love to hold babies. I completely understand and agree with your point.
This is completely disgusting. In one still, a female agent is holding her sunglasses while she is supposed to shielding the president. At the limo, a female agent doesn't know whether she is supposed to holster or stay at the ready with her weapon. And she cant holster under duress. What the hell is going on ?

I don't think it is so much about women not being in the Secret Service (or law enforcement or military jobs)...but that they should not have a lower standard than their male counterparts to do the same jobs.
I’m a woman. A Leo wife. My mother was a security director and was also in corrections. Sister is an army nurse. Most women shouldn’t be in law enforcement or military. These female ss agents look frazzled. U can even hear one on the mic after the shooting “what do we do”… u need to be calm and collected in these situations. Gah I don’t think most men can hold these types of positions or be Leo’s either. Not many people will walk into the crosshairs to protect another or keep themselves collected enough to act effectively. It’s sad the bar has been dropped so low. But then again society has made it hard to get good people in law enforcement only to be treated like scum and targeted. Prayers for our officers and our nation.
If you’re a lady in Law Enforcement you need to have short hair! Long hair can allow a prep to grab it and physically lead you around like a dog on a leash. One of the SS Agents had her hair in a ponytail. Be smart ladies and protect yourselves so that you can carry out your duty.
Retired female Officer here. I physically outperformed one guy during the academy. On the job- 1. I stopped a prowler who immediately got verbally aggressive. I had him talked completely down when my backup arrived, tires screeching. The male Officer came to my "rescue" by jumping out of his unit, yelling at the suspect to get on the ground. Instead of getting on the ground, the suspect immediately began yelling back and the situation escalated. 2. I arrived at a call as back up to a male Officer who was on the opposite side of a chain link fence fighting a suspect. Two male Officers (not fat), were standing on the same side of the fence as me. They were watching the fight. I climbed the fence and jumped into the fight..The other, non-fighting Officers, never came to our side of the fence. I always was and always will be a "tomboy" (I'm still feminine, look like a woman, and am married with children), but - I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING TATUM SAID IN THIS VIDEO!!!!
There is one way that women working in a traditionally male field can show that they were not hired for diversity - be noticeably good at your job! Sounds like you were, but these USSS women looked and sounded completely untrained, unprepared, and not physically or mentally qualified.
Let's be fair. Women can be in secret service. However... QUALIFIED women should be in secret service. As well as in any other industry or position. Qualified people should have the jobs they want. Not people who are DEI hires.
Bodyguards are deployed to protect assets with their bodies. It has nothing to do with their intelligence primarily. If women have to be deployed for this kind of duty, they should be assigned to protect ladies that are shorter than them. A bodyguard is deployed to confront death on behalf of another person. The ladies assigned to Mr Trump were too emotional in their response to the situation.
That female secret service agent was ducking much of the time, leaving President Trump’s upper body and head exposed. She doesn’t have the instincts to protect another person. Even if she stood up his head would be exposed. Message to this agent: Get another job.

When my 16 year old daughter started dating, we explained to her that even a guy who is the same height and body weight as her could easily overpower her. She didn't believe us until we had her arm wrestle a boy smaller than her. He beat her no problem. It was eye opening for her. Now she understands that males will always be stronger so she needs to be careful and aware of her surroundings and careful not to put herself into dangerous situations. Telling girls that are the same as boys can be so dangerous when they don't understand the physical difference!
A youtuber, formerly a Navy Seal said there are no female Navy Seal because females cannot meet physical requirements in training. Navy Seal requirements do not deviate policies because women are unable to meet standards.

I’m a former corrections and law enforcement officer, was military police. I’m 6’6” and not afraid to go hands on in a millisecond. As a result I got selected for PSD. I’ve guarded presidents, secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld, 4 star general Bell the European commander…. I’ve been yelling for years women should not be in law enforcement, military, secret service… they are a liability. I could use this video of what not to do. First when shtf you can hear a female yelling “what are we doing” over and over. wtf do you mean you don’t know what to do! All the men instantly dove on the president to cover him in ballistic vests- the females posted up like bouncers infront of the stage at a concert. Tries to put her weapon away at the vehicle- why how do you know there isn’t an additional threat? Why can’t she holster her weapon when she tried- lack of proficiency. And someone explain to me why when escorting the president she is ducking down and too short to cover the presidents head! You are not supposed to be ducking you are supposed to make yourself as big as possible and even take that bullet for the president! Enough of this feel good dei bs!
There are many jobs a woman can do in the Secret Service. However, being a protective service officer for a 6'4" protectee is not a job for a 5'6" officer, male or female. It isn't about being a woman, it is about being able to do the job, not just fill a quota.

I'm a 5'8" Veteran and I can function as security as well, or better than tall people. The job of the Secret service is not entirely to be meat shields. That may be how they behave or what they have been reduced to, but a competent secret service agent has more options than "bear hug with vests"
Every experienced fireman has seen panicked people run in circles during a significant incident! These girls were panicked and running in circles! They looked really cool in their Secret Service costumes right up until the first shot was fired. All three panicked and ran in circles.
I don't have a problem with women in the secret service. I have a problem with clearly unqualified people who are anything other than the absolute BEST folks for the job.

Am a retired cop. I've worked with females who I guarantee you would not want to tackle. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but it is the size of the fight in the dog. I've watched the same recordings as everyone else. I saw a lot of unprepared and I'll trained persons of both sexes. Their sex is irrelevant. They were panicking and not trained. Let's see Putins detail!!!
When I watched this with my husband I said " what are those women gonna do ". I get there are big strong women but it's a man's job, I'm sorry. We're just different then men. I will protect anyone I see in danger, and I have, but don't hire me to protect you. These chicks are no different.
I disagree, the Secret Service doesn’t just protect the President, they’re many other investigations jobs which they do. Protection details are the most visual of the many things that they do. Women definitely have a vital role within the Secret Service.

As a woman, I find it insulting to lower the testing standards. Some ladies can do it, but don't hire just any lady as a diversity hire. Not every woman can do it, and that's okay. Just don't hire those. Hire someone who can do the job, man or woman. Test everyone to the same standards. If you can do it, you can do it.

Yep, and it’s gonna cost someone their life one day. There’s certain jobs for certain people. Just like nightclubs in Manhattan only back in the days hired 6 foot five juice heads for the most part. It was always a rare occasion. But just the size and intimidation stops most issues which is the purpose. Just like Police same thing goes firefighters same thing again do you want a little girl rescuing you out of a building just like now at 50 years old I wouldn’t be a good fire person anymore. I have a bad back of issues. It is what it is. But all inclusive thing is very dangerous.
Women SHOULD be in the Secret Service but NOT directly in charge of protecting the president. Use the women as perimeter detail but NEVER to actually be one of the ones who directly protect the president.

Those 3 women outside of the vehicle, looked completely overwhelmed & untrained. It was painful to watch. A former president and current presidential candidate deserves better.
There are many jobs in the Secret Service that women can do. However, neither male nor female agents that are less than 6' tall should be on a protective detail. Especially when the protectee is 6'4" tall.
