Women, Wigs & Hair Loss - What Do Men Think? 

This was amazing! I am 28 and single and goin through hair loss. I'm not even dating because of all off the questions you guys brought up and addressed. These are such real concerns and for you to bring them to the light in such an authentic way made my heart happy. Also, get you a man's like Alex, girls!

I find many videos discussing about when / how / whether to tell your date about your wig but I can't seem to find anything about actually showing your bald head to your SO for the first time and how that affects your intimacy. I'm very open about my alopecia but I'm forever battling with the fact that I don't feel attractive or sexy without my wig. I would love tou hear other women discuss their own experiences with this (hopefully other women go through this too).

He nailed it! As a heterosexual guy, if you are attracted to a female physically then hair or no hair, you are physically attracted to her. It’s like saying you’re attracted to this girl in a dress but in a dress that very few women wear you’re not?? No way. You are attractive. You’ve got a great body and a really cute face so on a purely physical level it makes absolutely no difference (from a males point of view). Secondly the fact that you are so candid about something that makes you feel pain makes you strong enough to reveal your vulnerability. That’s character that no Uber model can match. Thirdly, if I was with someone and she didn’t want to be with me after knowing that I wore a wig then I know she’s not the girl for me! What’s next? My beard turns grey? My brand of clothes aren’t impressing her friends? I say this not to make you feel better. I say this because it’s true. I too wore a wig for 25 years and I never had a negative reaction after being upfront about wearing a wig, Like you mine looked natural but that’s not the point. In fact sharing the fact that I chose to wear a wig made some girlfriends open up about their own perceived insecurities. My hair piece became a segway into letting my partner feel better about themselves. It became a two way cathartic street. If you have the personality to wear hair (which you obviously do) then in my opinion (and from my own experience) it’s a bonus. Someone once said to me that often in life your poison can be your cure. You have certainly proved that in spades and have gone on to show thousands and thousands of women (and men) this truth also. I have been dealing with hair loss as well, and have medical conditions. It is the kind that does not grow back. It has been hard for me to accept. Though I am told I look attractive both before and after my big hair shedding event around age 22, I feel forever terrified that as it gets worse as I age (as it does for women in general anyway), I have absolutely no hope of finding or keeping love, and maybe that I might even need to come to terms with it. Not to mention I am terrified of aging with PCOS anyway. Even though I am very strict with myself on diet and exercise even at the age of 29. I like that you addressed attraction, because that is what I care about. Not someone who stays with me or loves me out of pity but is *in love* with me. I can say for sure, having liked a bald guy before who lost his hair quite young, I don't care. If I like him, I like him. But male hair loss is much more normalized so in that way "accepted."

I struggle with hair loss from PCOS. I tend to be up front about it. I just state that I have a medical condition and this is how I handle the hair loss. I change my hair up a lot. So I let the person know pretty early on. So if he has a problem that if it is a problem with him then I know.

You two are so cute I just got wig about a week ago haven't worn it yet partially because it needs bangs I won't lie this wig is gorgeous what I wish my hair would have been but it never was and now I'm having issues with my own but I'm honestly sorta scared .. going through divorce together 2y years have health issues and am really down you guys made me smile and I have some hope that I just gotta own it.. and in a little time I will! Thank you!

Do you only care what men who have hair think? And could care less about a bald guys opinion? Seems like it i met a girl who wares lace wigs so I told her about my hair system and she said she don't want a bald guy! Wtf?? I hope everyone gos bald
