As a client, my favorite parts are the foot soak and the foot massage. Heat from the water feels amazing, though I wish more foot baths had something for my toes to grip and squeeze. There’s a spot on the ball of the foot that, when it released during the foot massage, makes my entire body feel so relaxed that I basically turn into a human shape wet noodle. As a guy, I am on my feet all day walking on concrete and up and down ladders, I love getting a pedicure. The whole experience is awesome and very relaxing. I love the part when the person is messaging my feet and calves. They also use hot rocks and warm/hot towels together... dang bear puts me to sleep every time. Thank you for sharing these videos of your work.

As expected the massage is my favorite part. But, when I have an ingrown toenail and the tech is able to remove it without any pain, that is so incredibly satisfying. Firstly because of the pain relief for myself and secondly for how proud I am of the tech’s skills. Also, thank you so much for doing a thorough job of pushing the cuticle back all of the way and taking your time to remove it so skillfully with the cuticle nippers. Happy New Year!

Can you do massage tutorials? I’m self taught with doing nails (I don’t have clients and dont plan to) but it would be great to learn facial massage techniques for myself and mani/pedi massage for friends/family. I am certified for gel polish, but by day I’m actually an architect 😂❤

Here in the United States, you would be required to wear gloves, because if you didn’t, especially if you have your own business, the health department would give you a citation for not complying with the health code requirements. But I guess in the UK things are different.. secondly, as far as saving the environment by not wearing gloves to each their own, I don’t believe one is saving the environment by not wearing gloves that’s just a personal choice

According to the Meticulous Manicurist most State boards do not require glove wearing for pedicures as you are not working on a body part that is likely to carry cross contamination once normal hygiene measures ( such as hand washing) are met.

@@amberatartimec2564 here in the state of California you are required by the health department to wear gloves if you are a licensed manicurist so maybe where you’re from whichever state that may be maybe that particular state doesn’t require you to but here in the state of California you are and I would not ever go and have a pedicure done without someone wearing gloves I would insist on it because you don’t know where my feet have been, and I don’t know where your hands have been. And this is just my personal opinion to each their own.
