This is old small Hollywood dirty trick called "queerbating" - intensly teasing viewers with the idea of same-sex relationships between characters... WITHOUT ACTUALLY SHOWING THEM!
@Enrique Irau Lagunas Perez Hate to tell you this, but Diana was raised on an island where there were only women and had had multiple canon female lovers. Barbara was also raised in an women-only society. The guy who created wonder woman was bisexual and polygamous. There was no point in womder woman's creation where she was 100% straight. It's only her straight romances that are well-known because they're with famous male characters.
no one can convince me ww84 wasnt a sapphic love story like the first half was literally a romcom and the second half was so full of sexually charged fight scenes
"Nice heels. You wanna get lunch?" Dang, Barbara! Right in the first minute! Some guys and girls wouldn't even have the courage to ask that. You never needed magic power, just a little more confidence and some self-defense classes.
i can totally relate 😂 i have a crush on my neighbour and dang it she's the sweetest girl i have ever come across and just because im so nervous all the time around her i just avoid her 😁😁 damn wat do we even do
@@Rosa-cj2yb I stopped watching in like s3 or something cause I was so sick of it and then I tried to watch again and they just destroyed Lena's character and I haven't watched since.
@@SuccubiSage Im so disappointed on what they did on that interview and Katie is the only person there who didnt make fun of the ship. Im just so done with the show too
There's always been a sexual jealousy/attraction element in WW/Cheetah... Played beautifully here by both. Cheetah is an arch enemy precisely due to being Diana's wild, scorned, uninhibited flipside.
The Razzies screwed up big time by nominating Kristen for Worst Supporting Actress and the movie Worst Sequel WW84 has flaws, but it’s still a good film with nice acting, gorgeous scenery, well shot action sequences and good moments of chemistry (especially from Gal and Kristen)
@Giuseppe Ianniello WW84 won the Kids Choice Award Best Flick of the Year & Series Em Cena Award Best Movie of the Year plus Gal won the EntreNews Award Best Actress
The acting isn’t terrible at all. It’s the story and the details that make no sense at all and leave the viewer saying what about this or that while watching it. I e what happens if people have contradicting wishes? What happens to the guy while Trevor takes over his body? How does a ww1 biplane pilot know how to pilot a jet? Why would a museum have a fully fueled and ready jet plane on display? Orcas are also ace predators What not one of those? Etc. nothing is thought through.
Absolutely, the film would've been infinitely better if they had a relationship. Their conflict would've been so much spicier if they were ex lovers who didn't work out. It would've made the film less flat and with a little more depth and colour to it. And their interactions read very much like they knew each other for longer than the film suggests.
Barbara thinking - ... i'm sorry, I didn't hear a word you said. I was staring at your mouth, your lips...I like your pretty face, lets face each other in the dark..))))
All those who are here watch " professor Marston and the wonder woman", he is the one who created Wonder Woman, also gave the character super power and Bisexuality. If u'll watch it u'll definitely understand that WW is a Bisexual and has a sexual preference for woman more..
I am going to be honest when I came to the US I CAME FOR 3 YEARS AND THEN I THOUGHT TO GET REVENGE FOR THE GOLD I HAD STOLEN FROM MY DAD AND THEN I MET A VETERAN AND ONE US CITIZEN EVEN MY EX-WIFE IS CARED FOR
Bueno en una entrevista a christen wing y a gal cuando están en una entrevistas cristen dice si realmente yo me enamoré de Gal cuando estábamos grabando y Gal sonríe dice tú te has enamorado de l mujer maravilla
You misunderstood, @@MultiALLENS. I said "I absolutely ship them both". Like "If it weren't for Barbara's wish in the movie, those 2 probably would've been an awesome couple"
@Enrique Irau Lagunas Perez considering she’s grew up on an all-female island there’s a big chance she is. Not even chance, in 2016 it was confirmed she canonically is sooooo
Let's dream a a future when any run-of-the-mill Hollywood movie can end with a same sex couple and people think nothing of it because it's so normal. Do you think we will live to see it? I'm 40 now.
They should've built up their friendship more. I mean, she was a bigger conflict for Diana than Max, or even Steve. If your main character's "best friend" only gets six minutes devoted to their friendship prior to turning evil, and all the friendship stuff canonically happens in ONE DAY, they're not best friends.
@@nandaflorentino Yes. In almost every iteration of Cheeta, she and Diana were friends or even became friends after she became Cheeta. There was a version where Barbara was the "Steve" of Diana's story (taught her English, how to fit in, read and write, etc). There was many versions where they became lovers before and post Cheeta.
Barbara's character is a rip off of Michelle Pfeiffer's Selina Kyle and Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy. I wished they made Barbara more complex like there's moral ambiguity or gray area instead of predictable good nerd turned evil.
