Even in this FIRST EPISODE, Lynda Carter's personality that she brings to the character shines through. There's no brooding, anger, etc like they do with today's portrayal of superheroes. She makes you laugh- even at that last line!!

While Lynda was in her mid 20s when this episode was shot, she looks like she was fresh out of high school. She did play the naive "fish out of water" aspect of her character perfectly in the first season.

Back in the 70's, when I was young, I had a big crush on Lynda Carter, and so did a million other guys! :)

Lynda played the "fish out of water" aspect of her Wonder Woman character very well in the early first season. You can sense her naivete about how the "world of men" works and her confusion about why her skimpy costume is attracting so much attention. It helped that while she was about 24 when this episode aired, she actually looks much younger.

I was 5 years old when I first saw her, and I fell in love right away. When she transformed into Wonder Woman, my eyes popped out of my sockets.

There is nothing wrong with the 3 disc dvd set of Wonder woman. The entire series is my favorite!. Lynda Carter worked so hard on the show. She was just starting out as an actress. Of course she didn't know about actually paying for things, She came to America to protect and work with Steve Trevor. So in order to get some money, she gets hired at the war department, and guess who she is working with? Major Steve Trevor. He came dangerously close to figuring out that She is Wonder Woman. I thought perhaps when they learned about the Nazis planning a land attack on Paradise Island, He would have heard her say "Paradise Island". Apparently he didn't.

I saw her on tv when I was little and I fell in love with her even though I was 6 or 7 yes old. I was looking at the map of USA and 8 realized I was only a child and I had to wait for the day when I could go over to the states as soon as I was able to figure out that I have to wait about 14 years I was depressed I was a little boy but I knew I got a crush on the body line. she is truly my first love.
