Not only is this accurate but the fire next line about bats she beat the hell outta Batman but didn’t kill him after he beat Superman which is the actual bar just saying
i will say though that being blind is misunderstood. only about 1% of blind people are fully blind, a lot of them can see shadows and lights like when sighted people close their eyes. hence the distinction between blind and legally blind. so yes, i think stevie wonder is blind but not in the stereotypical way.
If you watch the video of him catching the mic, he opens his arm out. Blind guys have a greater emphasis on their other senses for spacial awareness, so he would've heard it fall. If he knew it where it was, he would've one with the hand, like anyone else, but he went with the arm to try and see if it was even there.
In several iterations Wonder woman dated Batman for a while And in all of them she breaks up with Bruce because he has always cares about his mission more than her The let bats down easy line is also reference to that
@@kostajovanovic3711 Sappho was a Greek poetisses and it was one of the best greek poets, the thing is that most of his poems are about how much she loves the figure of woman how much she loves woman, she never married and lied in a all woman comune in the island of Lesbos. She is one of the most famous lesbians ever and the terms of Saphic love and lesebian are references to her.
*_Doc Rich_* : I can explain the whole vison thing for you, While I can not say for sure if Stevie Wonder was truly blind or not, I never met him. However blind people do have a reflex response such as flinching, dodging oncoming projectiles and even jetting your arm out to catch something. This is because blindness is caused by a disconnect between the eyes and the ocular lobe. However, your brain still sees what's going on, even if you cannot. Reflexes such as what is described earlier are what is known as autonomic functions, meaning they are actions that occur without conscious thought. Breathing, blinking, and basic reflexes are all examples of this. The tectum is a part of the midbrain that controls auditory and visual reflexes. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now the technicals are explained, think of being blind as a TV with a no video feed. As stated the brain is fully aware of what's going on, even if you are not. but, because without vison you have no context to act upon neither can your brain. Thus it can only respond via autonomic functions. This is likely what happened to Stevie Wonder. But again, I cannot say for a fact because I never met the guy.
I feel like such a damn fool. I always thought that these two got paired up because Stevie is blind and WW has an invisible plane. I literally just realized they both have "wonder" in their name -.-"
@John Thomas Dschinghis Khan vd Easter Bunny, John lennon vs Bill O'Riley, Hulk hogan vs Kim jong il, Benjamin franklin vs Billy Mays, Lady gaga vs the alaska lady, Miley Cyrus vs Joan of arc
@@RashaundaSpears yes I know exactly who he is, or was. He passed away a few years ago sadly. He was a great musician, singer, songwriter and showman. A revolutionary because of his refusal to play in segregated venues! He was banned from the entire state of Georgia! Now his song "Georgia On My Mind" is their official state song!❤
I feel like this is the beginning, (ohhh!) (This is a reference to the lyrics of Wonder's song "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", "I feel like this is the beginning." Wonder also sings the line similar to the tune in his song.)
I find it funny how ww uses titles of Stevies songs in alot of her bars and no one notices that. And she had a thing with Batman if u noticed him pop up in the corner
Stevie won for sure however the lady Lilly Singh is a really talented singer i recommend you check her out. plus once you find out her nickname you'll see why they chose her to play the part.
I found one you really NEED to check out! The flows are awesome and total wickedness ensues..John Wick vs Jon McClane vs John Rambo. I have got to hear your take on this one!!
Yeah I know someone who is legally blind, he has Retinitis Pigmentosa and he can't see in the dark whatsoever, like zero vision unless there was a light, he told me that your senses are increased when your vision goes down. Like someone would walk past his room and he'd know because of his increased hearing, even if the door was shut. And his sense of feeling, like if someone is next to him or trying to sneak behind him, he'd know because of the heat that people produce or if a sound of a fan is changed because they're in front of it..you know, little things like that.
Depends on the definition of Blind. It is possible to be legally blind with 20/20 vision, example, you have tunnel vision. The most definitive type of blindness is NLP in both eyes. NLP stands for "No Light Perception."
I've watched this rap battle so many times and I've watched so many reactions to it and this isn't my first time seeing this particular reaction either but I literally just caught onto how Rich goes onto explain the video he saw with the mic stand and when she says "your YT videos raise some vision questions" she's holding a mic stand and then she drops it and the other her catches it. I'm literally so slow, it's absurd lol
All I'll say is even when your blind you can still hear things. My deaf teacher always said hearing people think we're disabled but we're not. Did you know deaf people can legally drive? People who can hear and see always think deaf and blind people are helpless but their other senses are heightened.
A LOT of your brain is devoted to sight. Your sight being gone doesn't take away all that brain matter and your body isn't going to let it be dead weight it'll use it for other senses.
So in 85? I was in the front row of s wonder concert and the lady behind me accidentally smacked me while dancing and caused me to fall trying to catch myself I accidentally threw change on the stage and during the super loud music he looked right at the money than at me I assure you he can see
I want to tell you something about visual impairment. Just because someone is blind doesn’t mean that they are completely ignorant of their surroundings. I just thought everyone should no that. :-) No hate. I’m blind and I’ve heard so many misconceptions. As someone who was born visually impaired and has heard it all. I’ve been asked “How many steps does it take you to get from home to work?” Haha I don’t know LOL!!!!! Again No hate from me. Just here to educate. And when you talked about Stevie Wonder having 9 different kids with five different mothers. I died!!! OK I’m going to go now.
It's also standing back from a storyline in the comic books were Batman had a thing for Wonder woman and she turned him downand as we all know Batman's nickname in the comic books especially Justice league comics they usually referred to him as batsthat's why you also see a picture of Batman in the background when she says I let bats down easy also from her rejecting Batman
Does a difference between being blind and partially sighted does only 2% of people that are actually blind the other percentage of mark partially sighted
Well keep in mind that blind people tend to have all their other senses heightened so I wouldn’t be surprised if a blind man was able to catch a mic stand.
@Nicole Jessica it actually has to do with a female writer from Grecian times whose name was Sappho...who wrote about the beauty of women...the word Sapphic gets its root from her name.
I never get why Wonder Woman have an invisible plane for once you can fly and 2 why would you want a plane that's invisible that everybody can sing you in and I want to know what kind of blinds Stevie Wonder is because he actually drive as well
A super hero vs a blind person and the blind person winning? Wouldn't that be awesome? Daredevil after winning against other heroes.... Am I a joke to you?
