(9-3-20) Ohhhhhh Menards! That's right this is the elevator what started that little joke in the elevator community. I visited this elevator back in 2017 and it had a lot of issues. OHHH Menards. Are all Menards stores 2 floors? When I go to Chicago, I want to go to a Menards to film the elevator. Are there any Menards stores off the cta or the Metra?

They are all two floors but I’ve seen some with no elevator.

Just clean the sensors and it will work again!

Must be an electronic/wiring issue. The sensor clicks, but it false-trips sometimes. It's kind of hard to tell. If the sensor kept tripping, the door wouldn't get stuck halfway, it would just remain open. Maybe a part of the door assembly is dirty or needs lubrication.

This thing is kind of better, but at the same time, it is worse, broken lantern, door operator crapping out, "made in china" sticker worn off. Gosh Menards, take better care of your elevator and quit letting it act poopy:)
