Another great video Kathryn. I am envious of you still having your Mum. To be able to ask her a question to sort out something you can't quite remember the detail of is precious. Make the most of her and ask her all the questions you can think of now. I lost my Mum 20 years ago and wish I could ask her things often.

Hahaha, how funny that you were holding onto another “mum’s” coat! I remember seeing the back of someone in a store who I thought was my mum. I went up behind her and gave her a massive bear hug. Poor woman was totally shocked but she saw the funny side. My mother, who had found me and other woman by this time, was totally embarrassed. Full disclosure: I was well into my 20s when this happened. 🤣 Thank you as ever for a beautiful video. Love being part of this wonderful stitching community ❤

Oh my goodness I had a similar experience when I was 4. In a big department store with my Mum, holding her hand. Then looking up and seeing that I was actually holding a mannequins hand! Scary for a 4 year old. I love your rose box so much. I may make a few with thick cardboard, to be solid scrap fabric boxes for various colours. Thank you.❤

So funny about getting lost, I have a similar story about my daughter in Boots, she had a attachment to rubber pants (the ones we used to put on over Terry nappies) she was standing beside me then she was gone, I was frantically walking up and down the isles then spotted her in the rubber pants isle going through each packet and testing it to see if it felt nice against her nose. I will never forget that moment ❤ The rose box is beautiful, another to my ever growing list of k3n projects lol

These boxes can be made sturdier & washable by adding inside pockets to the 4 sides & putting cardboard in them. A 5th piece of cardboard becomes the bottom (added after the box is done), which can also be covered in a cloth sleeve if you really want it to be neat. Oh my goodness. I laughed about the coat tail. I can see you doing this. The Bee is glorious and matches perfectly. What a Bonnie Bee. I will have to go and see Marion tutorial. I just have not looked at it yet. You have me looking at Gone Rustic. I was totally absorbed in the colors of her fabrics and the pieces she has dyed. Her art is fantastic too. Now I am trying to follow so many people. LOL. And I love every bit of it. Thank you. I am in the middle of doing a rice bag, but now I wonder if it should be a box instead! Too many decisions.
