Best lionfish sculpture I have ever seen! I have been beating myself up for years for not buying one that I found. This is my favorite fish since I was 10 years old. I want one!
Wow wow wow ...that's awesome you have inspired me to do something that's gonna take time and show the delicatness of wood and what and how we can form it to our will so ty for the vid and keep showing us more as you create them 👏👏👏👊👊👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Cam, That look's pretty like 100% to me. It is the best bit of carving I have ever seen. AWESOME!!!!! Hope your finger gets better soon, I did wince when you hit your finger with the bit. Keep up your amazing work Cam. Cheers, Huw
WOW! I love the sea creatures you carve, they are so amazing. Gives me many ideas to carve for my back yard paridise. So far ive carved a 4 ft mermaid, and a 3 foot seahorse sculptures. To afraid to put finishes on them because i have so much time in them. But keep on inspiring me please
Simply STUNNING piece ! buddy, love the detail you put in that must have taken such a long time to make dude. I'd have been so scared of breaking one of the fins off sanding it down, I take my hat off to you Cam absolute awesome wood art. Thanks for sharing
Cammie, this is absolutely stunning! Wow! All the parts so fragile, but you did it again! The stain trick inspires me to try to carve a zebra and paint the stripes with stain. But I can't carve a zebra haha
Cammie; I'm in awe of your accomplishment. There are so many places in the process that I thought "Really?" You keep improving with each project! Was that a bird accompanying the music?
Absolutely fantastic, Cam. It's close enough to authentic for me. That one was a lot of work. Was that piece you threw in the trash not salvageable for something else? I hope your finger heals soon. Be safe. Bill
Just as the 5 second clip of you sanding one of the small pieces flashes up on screen I was thinking... Holy cow you're going to be doing a LOT of hand sanding with this one! Project turned out fantastic The only other question in my head was... what kinda motobike you drive and where was your best trip? (my bucket list includes the Virginia blue hills, Quebec to the maritimes and down to maine in the fall and up to the yukon in the summer)
I did a lot more sanding than I showed, but it's boring. :D We have a Kawasaki Versys X (300cc.) My wife bought it for commuting to work, but she rode it one week, then worked from home since. LOL! A couple of weeks ago, I rode into the mountains near Great Smoky Mtns. N. P. That has been my nicest trip on it so far.
