Wood ear is a easy to identify healthy and medicinal mushroom that is really good in soups and stews. Always remember to never eat ANY wild mushroom or plant without being 100% sure of its species.

I found one in my yard on a dead branches after the rain on Pecan tree. I looked up I saw more growing up on the dead pecan tree branches. I would love to harvest more but the tree is too high🤣 I cleaned it and put it on spring rolls.

The Mu-Err is not only suitable for cooking delicious recipes. Chinese culture also treasures Judas's ears as a medicine. It can also be sold as a dietary supplement. The fungus is said to strengthen the immune system and have an anti-inflammatory and haemostatic effect. The Mu-Err is used, for example, for circulatory problems or to lower cholesterol levels. Mu-Err mushrooms are rich in iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium and contain vitamin B1 and phosphorus.

The branch was barely hanging on and made for a good angle to film with. I was hoping it would hold just long enough to finish the video lol

Funny thing, here in america the people are very finicky about eating things that look "gross" I do enjoy telling people that enjoy eating Asian food that they have most likely been eating these and never knew it

"A fungUS", not "a fungI". Not "a little bit more coarser", but "a little bit more coarse" or "a little bit coarser" . English is your first/only language? Hard to tell. Don't bother to reply.
