I Would be concerned about the loss of strength from kiln drying. Musical instrument wood is air dried. It takes longer but does not compromise the strength. I would expect it to be the same un marine applications as well as aircraft applications

Awesome video! Forget about buying from the hardware though. There is enough good wood flooring being thrown out in building renovation work.

What about moisture content? Did you pre-dry your lumber before cutting and planning?

Hi can you tell what is the spec for the wood and do you know any spec for aeronautical bonding of the wood with epoxy adhesive ? Thanks
