Mega Man's music is well known to be excellent, and Mega Man 2's soundtrack is the cream of the crop, though even that is hotly contested among long-time Mega Man fans. Wood Man's theme is probably among the best of an already incredible line-up of stage themes from that game. It's very, as they say... ... ... ... nice. >:]

Wood Man's theme is good, definitely - but I don't think I've ever met a Mega Man OST fan that had it as their fave from 2. Usually it's Metal Man or Wily Castle 1; sometimes Air Man or Bubble Man.

"Understand I'm different than the others you've seen before, I've been born from nature and machines of war!" 🍃 The first nature themed Robot Master, with both the exterior and most of the inside parts made from hinoki cypress. Building robots is one thing, but one made almost entirely from wood, that can fight in addition to the Leaf Shield? Wily really is ahead of the pack in terms of robotics. And considering he got tougher to beat in Megaman: The Power Battle, with a technique that involves rolling and bouncing around the arena at high speeds, he's certainly no pushover! "Carved from Mighty Oak" indeed. 👍
