Wood turning an epoxy and wood duck call. I did a simultaneous pour of epoxy with green pigment on one side, and black mixed with purple on the other side. The wood mixed in is birch firewood from my firewood pile.
Thank you sir! I appreciate the kind words! I agree, I need to talk on my videos. I'm planning on making a "thin blue line" call video soon, maybe that will be my first talking video :)
@@gamingwithgavin731 Awesome! It's seriously a ton of fun. If you're just planning on making calls, you can get a mini lathe and save money. Mini lathes are more than big enough for any calls. I don't really make the inserts, which is the hard part. I buy them from Echo Calls, and I just have fun making the barrels. It does take practice to learn the cutting techniques (I'm still learning every day), but overall it's not difficult. I bet you'd pick it up really quickly.
@@gamingwithgavin731 Absolutely! I'd love to hear how it goes! And thank you for subscribing :) If you want to see some of my other calls (a lot more than I post on RU-vid), you can check my Facebook page out "Alaska Duck Calls". I've got a lot of photos on there of different styles I've done lately.
Hey Justin quick question. Have you ever had the epoxy start to get soft again if you have them in a truck or on the dash in defrost. Im running into that problem. What epoxy do you use?
