I turn a piece of Black Locust to use with a gift sent from Ireland.
The wood is very pretty but very hard. It is has been down for around 2 1/2 years. The longer it dries the harder it gets.
Finished with:
Minwax Sanding Sealer
Minwax Polycrylic
Acks Sanding Paste and Acks Polish/Restoring Paste
Tools used:
Bowl Gouges
Carbide hollowing tools
Negative rake scrapers
