I get excited about my first harvest as well Tracy. I’ve been trying to understand soil biology here lately. Makes a lot of sense to me. At least what I can understand. 🤣

It is complicated. The part that my mind grabs onto is that every time we till the soil, we are disturbing and killing all the microscopic bugs, and fungal pathways that can make our plants thrive! I haven't got it down yet, but I'm trying to work it out.

All I’ve used so far this year is cow manure and top soil. It dries quick, so I find more watering (I’ve done back to eden before) I can’t wait to add my wood chips and maple leaves!! Great video

It has amazed me how easy it is to pull the weeds (when I finally decide to ) from the wood chips, My biggest problem so far I think is that I either don't put the chips thick enough or wait to long to add more. Good Luck with your gardening this year! I see it looks great so far!
