Thank you (Y) This is exactly what I hoped to find here on youtube: A DIY vise I can build into the new workbench I'm starting to build next week. And without any special tools I've seen in other DIY vises. I'm going to flush the outside of the inner board to the side of the tabletop, in case I want to work on the sides of longer boards and make it easy to fasten one end on the vise and the other end with a clamp or two. And I'm going to make 2 holes for bench dogs in the outer board of the vise, and holes in the top of the bench, to be able to fasten boards, etc, on the table top with the use of the vise. This basic bench vise in the video makes it so easy to add whatever we want to fit our different needs. I really thank you SO much for all the amazing inspiration in all your videos and for the drawings (Y) :D Stay safe and creative!

Went to Home Depot yesterday. My design is similar but I am using 2 inch steel angle for the jaw supports. For the rods, all 5/8 solid steel outside and thread rod in center. The slide spinner is going to be another piece of 5/8 rod threaded ends.

Since I read *TopFineWoodworking. Com* , I think nothing will ever surpass it as an outstanding woodworking book. The book consists of attractive images as well as drawings and also reader-friendly text. I consider this book a "must have" since it supplies a broad range of information on just about everything working with woodworking and does it quite well.?

That is clever idea with wooden vice clamps for anything to work on and now all need to is PVC vice clamp be awesome to do anything with these vice clamp are unbreakable vice it's last for ages

I've watched a lot of vise building videos and your technique is the one I will be following, I will make a few minor changes, I will use leather to face my vise and I will be drilling dog holes in the outer face, my handle will be slightly different but that's all the changes, I've already printed your plans so thankyou very much, I'm going to look to see if you have made a video for your angle grinder cut off jig, I'm going to build that as well. This woodworking book *TopFineWoodworking. Com* contains a great deal of details about woodwork. There are some designs in the book but it is primarily explaining the procedure of how to do various things and what tools to use to accomplish them. In general, this book fulfilled my basic desire to learn about wood working.?

very good idea for this back plate nut to put it in seperate wood peace and screw it on the vice peace. this makes few options more to atach the vice to some other places.

Show, acabei de fazer hoje a minha, seguindo o vídeo e a planta. Alguma dica pra deixar mais firme pra quando colocar uma peça pequena em um dos lados, não ficar pensa? E não da muita pressão, pra ter uma boa prensagem tenho que colocar mais no centro ou alguma peça que ocupe a extremidade toda da morsa.

That left hand, that's just how I knicked my right ring finger on the back end of my table saw. Reaching back there without a blade guard to pull the wood through. Not a bad cut, but nerve damage sucks. The numbness and occasional sensitivity never goes away.

Нормальные классические тиски. Только то что ось с метрической резьбой не очень удобно-шаг резьбы мелкий,много крутить придется. Но такие оси самые доступные для широкого круга народа. Как обучающее азам изготовления приспособлений своими руками,это видео,весьма полезно. Металлические тиски,в магазинах России 70-120 евро,вроде немного,но ... лишних денег не бывает,на них еще инструмента можно прикупить.)) Где то у меня валяется ось с крупнозаходной упорной резьбой,шаг мм4-5 за оборот,можно будет такие тиски попробовать сделать. Спасибо за идею/напоминание.
