In this repair video we demonstrate step by step, how to attach the cord consolidator onto your wooden blind. This repair is easy to carry out and should only take 5 minutes. www.wooden-blin...
This looks like the consolidator on my blinds, but I cannot figure out what to do with the bottom cord. It kind of loops around the bottom inside of the consolidator, is there a reason for that? I want to trim the lower cord to be much shorter.
There's a video here that shows one way to do it, but I don't know if it'll help you, since it seems to require that the two uppermost cords are still inside the consolidator itself.
I just opened mine up. You have to simply stick a fingernail into the crevice on the top part of the consolidator and it comes right apart. This is coming to you two years to late, but maybe it'll be helpful to someone.
