Thanks for your channel, I feel lucky juste to have found it. I also work with laminated wood veneer, it gives you so much freedom with shapes without the needs of much tools. I don't have a bandsaw and it would definetely help but anyway, you can do without. I wonder one thing though, what is your gluing method for the veneer, I only use withe glue and it works but your method seems as good as mine even beter... If you would share your secret, it would be nice. Cheers and continue what you're doing (love your tats btw)
Hey! Thanks for your comment. I agree that you can do new styles with way fewer tools! I have test many glues and most of them works well if just add it right. Usually I use polyurethane. Drying time is quite much longer but the result is the best. Polyurethane holds the shape very well and it fills the smallest holes and the gaps because the glue swells. Also if the glue punches through, dried glue is very easy to remove, scratch and sand. Most of finishing products also fade the glue what might come through. But I also use white glue when I make more basic bending. If the bending is curvier It might need different glue and more pressure, and that’s the reason why I use polyurethane. But if the pressure isn’t strong enough with the polyurethane, it might be the worst kind of glue to use.
