For reels i would say Scottish influence, however, Irish music and culture was a major influence on highland cultural development.

Pauline Vee Quite often... listen to the short breaks in the melody. I take short quick breaths so as not to interrupt the flow of the melody. Hope that helps! Calum

Someone wrote it is a Morvan flute. That is not a Böhm style flute. Morvan styles his flutes on 19th century Pratten style flutes etc.
