Hi Erik This may sound like a daft (that is a Scottish word which means "silly"! ) question, but do you still make them, and do you sell them? Much more beautiful than the machine made ones, and I would certainly be interested in buying one.

Lovely spoon! I've watched all your videos in the last couple of weeks. I skipped this one and now appreciate the level of skill you had before tackling the cabin. The way you make videos encourages mindfulness practice. I was washing dishes last night, after watching the latest cabin video. There was pleasure in attending closely to what my hands were doing. It took me three spoons until I got something that I liked. I believe you can do it to, you just have to believe and don't be afraid to make mistakes.

@@mainsupp6853 Tranquilo, relaxa. Precisamos é mais desse tipo de ferramenta por aqui por um preço dentro da nossa realidade.

I am no expert in the art of spoon carving. But I work my way up to 500 grit sandpaper and soak the spoon in different oils. Then often with time I have to sandpaper it a little and oil it again. I just test my way forward and it works. Thank you.

Normal linseed oil works well, dont use modern boiled linseed as alot of those products contain toxic chemicals.

Butcher block oil is sold at most hardware stores. It's food safe.

I think it took me the hole afternoon. I am much faster today.

I must agree about Mora curved/hook/spoon knives. I find them aggravating.

You can order a Handel with or without pitted surface. It is for extra grip. I understand that it is not as good looking but I like the extra grip it gives, I have it on one of my timbering broadaxes.

Erik Grankvist what? I've never seen an axe handle like this and I have many. I dont care how it looks. Im the only person who will see it. I bought it to use. If I used it out of the box I'd be digging slivers out of my hands. It's chipped out bad
